Villa Maraki is an extraordinary place to stay and its located in Agia Paraskevi which has an amazing view! We stayed there for 10 days and i'll say one thing: the view from the rooms is breathtaking!!! The hotel is family-owned and operated by a kind and gentle lady! The people are very friendly and helpful! The island has many choices for every taste! Book now and I guarantee that you wont be disappointed!!!!

just returned from 2 weeks stay and wish to congratulate the staff for the cleanliness and the hospitality. Beautiful apartments in superb location. Nesta is a mine of useful information and is a great host. We would definately recommend these apartments and hope to go back in the near future

We have just arrived home from our family holiday.
The accommodation at Villa Maraki was brilliant and all the staff were superb. We were welcomed and immediately shown to our apartment and then offered a complementary drink.
The rooms were cleaned and tidied daily. Fresh bedding and towels every third day. The whole complex was cleaned daily and it was good to see the pool cleaned and water tested daily. I think i have a thing for cleanliness!!!
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they recommended places to visit, eat,car hire,etc.
Would we go back to Skiathos - yes. Would we stay at Villa Maraki - most definately.

me and my family came on our holidays here in the summer and it was brilliant.
the pool was good and the view from our room was nice. the rooms were very clean and had lots of space. the staff were great with the kids and were very helpful and kind. the hotel was near the supermarket and the beach so that was very good. it was red hot aswell on the beach so we got a good tan!!! the restraunts in skiafos were very good and very nice food. the food at the bar in the hotel had good food aswell. it was a very good holiday and me and my family had a very nice time and we would definetley recomend it to everyone.

We are a couple in the age range of 25-30 who went for a relaxing break in the sun :) Here is what we thought of the accommodation and location.
Very nice accommodation !!! It's fairly small, but has apartments, maisonettes and studios all in one complex, so you have a choice :) Building seems fairly recently built, looks beautiful, has a small clean swimming pool and the bar serves snacks & drinks. Owners don't speak much English, but it never became a problem with us. Although we had a studio it was still cleaned every day (got 1 change of towels and sheets)and the cleaning lady went to clean when she saw us leaving (had few lie-ins so definitely after 12pm). Room was very clean, well laid out. No ants, cockroaches or other nasties you can come across in some other places :D
Location is 3 minute walk from the beach has small shops either way from the complex(2mins) and a bigger one 3-5 minute walk. We spent two evenings in Iguana Pool Bar which I can't fault and the rest in town which is a 10 minute cab ride away (no more than 9 euros), the bus also operates till midnight.
I can't guess what it will be like in peak season, but mid-may it was a quiet place, so excellent if you are after a relaxing break rather than cocktail-fuelled partying.
Complex is not suitable for kids or people with walking difficulties as it has quite a few steps.
Another bonus was that we were allowed to keep our room till 4pm since our flight wasn't until 7pm so we could enjoy few extra hours on the beach and shower etc. rather than sit around somewhere with our luggage :)
All in all we would go back there again and were thrilled with it, especially after we saw the other places people were dropped off at on the way :S
