Looking at all these reviews I have to disagree. Personally, I thought this caravan park was lovely. I went with my mum, dad brother and dog and to say the caravan was for dogs it was wonderful. Very clean, very spacious. I have to agree the hill was steep and the price... more

We Stayed there for 7 nights in August 2011 and this is our second time with them. I dont have many negative things to say about this site only the fact that it is a mountain to climb to get to your caravan ( I dont know how this can be solved ) The shop on site is called "... more

My experience seems to differ from lots of people here. We are a family of 3 (me, my wife and baby daughter). We booked this as a sun holiday and upgraded to a smoke and pet free caravan in the Oaks section. The total cost ended up at around £110. Given the cost and the... more

Ok, lets start off at the begining, after reading reviews of the place I was a bit worried about the slope factor awaiting us, however, for a car it's not that inclined, towing a van or driving a motor home might be a bit of a clutch wearing exercise though, but take it... more

I stayed here 10 years ago, before Parkdean owned it - and it was good. Now I return I am pretty disapointed. The place is dirty - the swimming pool is freezing, although supposedly heated, crumbing and full of floating debris. More lifeguards than swimmers, but do they... more

Have returned from a weeks holiday at parkdean newquay, caravan wasn't particularly clean and very small(2 adults 3 children). Entertainment was what you would expect at a caravan park, bit naff.We paid £900 for one week, that's way too expensive for what you get.Wouldn't go again.

I booked 4 nights at the end of July and paid nearly £400. My expectations were unknown as we had never stayed in a caravan before. The photographs on the website made the accommodation look lovely. We chose to stay in a mid range caravan, non smoking and no pets. We... more

Nice relaxing week
Stayed here for a midweek break booking through The Sun newspaper. Read a few bad reviews for this place so was slightly apprehensive. Luckily they have done a lot of work to bring themselves up to date. The caravan was modern, clean, tidy and comfortable. The site was well kept and staff friendly. Check in was a breeze. The kids club certainly kept them entertained during the day and the evening. The pub/restaurant had been refurbished last year and served good food (Weatherspoon style menu). The food was served quickly,... more
Above Expectation Holiday
We stayed in Newquay Summer Lodge Holiday Resorts (2 bedrooms 4 stars) for 5 days (Paid by The Sun newspaper tokens). Everything in the Resorts are above our expectations. As it is not a big site so everything is easy to access. The accommodation was very clean especially the toilet which was with new power shower (with hot water). Facilities are ok, not a very big amusement which is good. Food & drinks from the pub are reasonable prices. Unfortunately the climbing wall & outdoor swimming pools were closed. Staff are very pleasant and... more
Never Again worst holiday ever
We stayed here in the summer of 2005, and what can I say it was the worst holiday ever with my partner and two boys aged 9 and 13. The reception was ok but not over friendly after out 7 hour drive with out trailer tent, given the last pitch top of site cramped between two other tents we were so close could hear every ones conversations. We had to pitch under massive pine tree, massive roots sticking out so hard to get level would of been night mare on your back if in a tent. Also the tree attracted large amounts of birds we had needles... more

Booked this last minute as no accom in st ives, our first choice. Arrived 9.45 on monday morning, accom was not ready, but office very helpful, took our mob phone number to ring us asap. Weather very hot, unpacked swimsuits and kids straight into 3 outside pools, parents then followed soon after. We had tried to get breakfast at bistro, but there was only one person on till, and a minimum of 45 minutes wait for any order, so settled for cup of teas instead. Little hut selling ice cream/drinks by pool had ran out of supplies, apparently big... more
Never again !!!
We arrived at the park on the 11th of August, reception was welcoming and we were allowed onto C pitch about 10.30am. We noticed how the pitched sloped, but thought thats ok as it didn't seem as bad as some of the other pitches especially on E and F. We didnt see much of the entertainment, but what we were told by other holiday makers, that we weren't missing much. They had bingo on every night and we gave this a try one night, but decided that we wouldn't do it again as the children in the room were noisey. The shop was... more
fantastic holiday
After reading the only 1 review of Newquay Holiday Park we were quite apprehesive about our only Holiday. However we had a fantastic time. We booked before christmas at Lizard Point , but after find out that there was nothing in the area we changed it in February to Newquay and had to have the only caravan left. We stopped in a Private owned Pentire which was basic but very clean and had a fantastic balcony. The extertainment was first class we had some very good comedians and Allstar were great for the kids and every day the... more
Went downhill on arrival!
My family and i were looking for a short break befor half term and after looking on the parkdean website chose Newquay caravan park in Cornwall staying in a 'middle range' caravan home for a long weekend. Our first time to Cornwall and from Brighton it was a good 7 hour drive. Upon arrival we were allocated our caravan which was in the 'meadows' plot[there are different names for different parts of the camp] and we ventured inside. On first sight it was extremley basic and had dirty carpets. Not to be put off right away we then noticed... more
