Only stayed in this hotel for 3 hours due to us arriving at 6am and not having anywhere else to go to after seeing the state of the hotel!
The room looked like it had not been cleaned for a month or 2. The sheets on the bed were threadbare. You didnt dare put your head down on the pillow. We opended the bathroom door and closed it just as fast.
The pool area was disgusting. The green algae gave the pool a lovely green glow, which was just as well as the pool lights had been pulled out and wires were laid @ the side of the pool. Also if you were bored you could of dived in the pool and read the magazines that were laid at the bottom of the pool! We were told this would be fixed the next day...but when we walked past 2 weeks later it was exactly the same.
The holiday rep just happended to be the hotel owner/manager...how does that happen???
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I booked this as a last minute holiday. We didn’t know what to expect having only found a couple of reviews that didn’t paint a pleasant picture of the Palme.
On the coach transfer we were dropped of with two other couples 15 minutes into the journey and picked up in a mini van driven by one of the staff who was extremely friendly on a further 10 minute drive to the hotel. Arriving at the hotel we were greeted by the manager who was also very pleasant.
First impressions we good the pool and pool area was very clean and tidy and all staff we very friendly and helpful. On our first night we were given a twin room however after being very apologetic they we soon to move us to a larger double room on the following evening. The room was basic and small but clean though we didn’t spend much time in it.
The hotel was in an ideal location as it was set off the main road and was a short walk to the river and town centre, where everything that you would need during your stay in Dalayan. Many of the locals were friendly and English specking making it a lot easier to communicate with them.
The only down sides to this hotel were that the gardens were very poorly maintained meaning that we were unable to us it throughout the our stay. All the balconies were rusty to meaning that it marked our clothes whilst drying.
Also our tour operator ‘Gold Trail’ didn’t give us the opportunity to have a welcome meeting or any sort of contact with a rep though the staff were more than willing to help answer any questions or recommend places visit.
Over all although we didn’t expect much from the hotel we were pleasantly surprised, the hotel itself wasn’t great however the staff and location made it an excellent place to stay.

We stayed in the Hotel Palme for one night only - thankfully!
This was part of an excursion planned at the end of our holiday in Icmeler.
Upon arrival we were shown to our tiny room which had a stench of what can only be described as raw sewage. There were sqashed bugs on the walls, dirty sheets, faulty sockets, and the toilet seat was covered in a dirty plaster type substance.
The bathroom also doubled as a walk in shower - by shower I mean a hose on a bracket. There was also a port hole in the bathroom covered in spiders webs and more stuck on creatures. Also we had managed to escape the infamous mosquito before sleeping in this sestpit.
We were "half board" our dinner consisted of HALF a chicken breast and local sludge like veg and the bar was extortionate!
The rooms all surrounded the pool in a two tier format and so all noise from the bar area was echoed throughout keeping everyone awake. The staff who were responsible for this din were very nonchalant about the whole affair.
Access to the Hotel is via a lane which our coach could not access. This was ok during the day however very dark at night.
We were disgusted by our experience at this establishment and are awaiting a reply to our complaint however we wont hold our breath!
On the plus side Dalyan was a small resort with lovely bars and a relaxing atmosphere, a very pleasant area to visit - just pick a different hotel!

When we first arrived at the hotel in the early hours we were greeted by welcome smiles. We went down to the bar for a drink and the guy behind the bar was a charmer and we instantly felt comfortable.
HOWEVER, he offered us air cond, which he priced at £5 a day. After talking to our tour operator he had said it was £3 a day. We decided not to take the hotel up on blatantly ripping us off. The next day we investigated our hotel room. The bathroom was dirty and the bin was half full (not nice considering you are not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet). The soap was used and dirty and there was a clump of hair hanging off our shower. We ran out of toilet paper on the second day and had to ask for more. We had to ask for our rooms to be cleaned by about the 3rd day as it became quite apparent this was not normal practice for this hotel.
On the 2nd day another couple we were with went down to the bar to buy some drinks...he was charged £32 as it was quite apparent that he did not know how the money worked. We complained promptly and were given the cold shoulder for the rest of the holiday. The hotel was nice on the outside and like a kennel on the inside.
However, Dalyan is an amazing place and I would not let this put you off going to this area. The people (outside of the hotel) are lovely and it should be commented that we will be going back there - just not to that hotel.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here after an excursion for about 7 hours waiting for our flight home. All I can say is it ruined the day completely, we walked into the smallest bare room with literally just a bed cramped into it. The bathroom had no working light and no towels** and there was ants and bugs crawling everywhere. The door wouldn't lock from the inside so anyone could just walk in, it was awful and will never go near there again and woyuld recommend to anyone to AVOID this place.
**which we were accused of stealing and having to open our bags to proove we didn't, with no apology after showing we hadn't!
