We booked Villa Emine through a package deal with Thomas Cook in August 2011. There was 5 people in our party ranging from 8 to 67. We were met at the villa by Jimmy - a lovely chap who was very friendly and helpful.
I was over the moon with the villa, it was clean and very well presented. The pool size wasn't a problem for us and was cleaned and maintained daily.
Jimmy had stocked the fridge with water, juices and Efes, we just paid if we wanted them. (the prices on the front of the fridge)
He called a couple of times during our stay to see how we were getting on.
Maid service was twice weekly and she did a a great job.
I would definately recommend Villa Emine, superb value for money and the most amazing views of Kalkan.
It's quite high up and we made use of the taxis. We tended to use the same ones. They all will offer a card and we just texted when we needed one.
The wellbeing Centre is well worth a visit, Turkish Bath is amazing!!
We didn't have a bad meal, delicious food and super service! Our favourite was The Corner.
Kalkan is beautiful and well worth a visit!!!
Enjoy

We recently came back from a 2 week break in kalkan, we stayed in the villa elif and were very unsatisfied with the treatment we recieved, we paid for the hire of a cot for our 1 year old son, on arriving at the villa we discovered instead of a cot we had a trditional turkish crib that was extremely dangerous and not secure we contacted our rep who contacted jimmy, jimmy asked us to pay for a cot at 170TL our rep said no we dont pay jimmy said he would bring a replacement that day, arriving back at the villa there was a replacement a newborn babys crib!! after contacting our rep again thomascook stepped in and quickly found a replacement travel cot for us, also the security of the villa itself was also brought into question when we accidentally locked our keys in the villa, we contacted jimmys family and explained the situation she spoke in turkish with an older female member of the family and asked us to wait at patara beach for 2 hours and return for the key at there restaraunt and they would get a locksmith to go to the villa and they would pay him and they would collect the money off us when we picked up the key, when we left we questioned it as the villa should have a spare key for maid service, and quickly went straight to the villa to see jimmy appear!!! jimmy told us the locksmith couldnt make it as he was busy in fethye! jimmy quickly gained entry to the property (i wont go into for future security)which left us gobsmacked how easy it was for him to get in,Also the maid we met was the older member of the family showed us her spare key when she came to clean the villa, we assume if we had followed there wishes to go to patara we would have been charged for a locksmith, the villa boasts a whirlpool bath which doesn't work and has black mould around the edge, and not to mention the dvd player which wasn't there, the villas cleanlieness was shockingly poor we had to purchase cleaning products ourself AFTER the maid had cleaned, The villa was crawling with ants and lizards which ok you can expect in a very hot country but nothing could prepare us for just how many there actually was in the property, also if traveling with kids beware of the wires in the master bedroom that are hanging out the wall just above the skirting board although there is tape around them i wouldn't take the chance, I would never return to this villa nor would i recommend it, thomas cook were fantastic in dealing with some of the issues raised and were quick to find solutions where possible.

we stayed at villa elif in august 2011, booked with a package holiday with thomas cook. Our travel agent booked tranfers for us as they werent included. Our taxi driver couldn't ind villa so it took an extra hour drivig around kalkan after a already long car journey from airport 70+ minutes.
Vlla excellent, clean, pool fantastic, jimmy the owner a bit of a pain very pushy and cleaner comes fair to early in the morning so beware.
Kalkan is a lovely resort but PLEASE hire a car as villa is very isolated - which isn't stated and too far up a hill to walk comfortably back and forward into town we spent a fortune on taxis.
