stopped for a week got a cheap AI package deal and have to say it was pretty good . pros : weather staff facilities short transfer food . cons : fat ignorant british holiday makers !!!!!!
over all a good holiday for a very good price.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Lambrada in Gulluk, I have to say that this hotel is not up to the 5 star rating it is given. There are plenty of facilities, the food is nice if you like Turkish food and are vegetarian. Entertainment consists of one cd of music... more

This is sold as a 5 star hotel. Not a chance. There are 2 hotels one is an annex which is probably 2 star as it has no facilities except a small bar, the main hotel is 3 star on a good day. Faults - AC and fridges dont work, drinks are watered down, only spirits included in... more

We stayed in the GULLUK HOTEL the extension part of the hotel.Initially we thought we would be disappointed but was pleasently surprised..All 35 rooms in the hotel face the harbour. Beautiful views and quiet. We could use the bar facility and have our breakfast at the Gulluk however lunch and tea served at the main litera. Choice of pool either climb the hill to the litera or go down the hill to the private beach and pool as previously mentioned. 3 star hotel with 5 star views. Rooms were basic and reasonably clean. Towels were available sometimes having to be requested. Usual fridge and air con questionable if ever work. Food was basic as the other reviews indicate, not much choice and similar at the next course. Pool bar next to the beach area do provide burger and chips as a last resort though. We came back from one week at the Labranda on 3rd August. Hotel is only a 15/20min transfer from the airport. Hotel on the whole is clean, but the toilet in our room was dirty - a few people said the same thing. Towels were changed every day, but no cleaning in the room at all done. Bed sheets were not changed all week. Pool very clean. Not enough sun beds for everyone - towels were going on the beds at 5.30am....bug bear of mine!!! Weather was superb for the whole week. Me and my Boyfriend have just arrived back after saying at the lebranda for a week. What can I say... The reviews were correct... It was a quiet relaxing holiday (which we wanted) We sat at the bar everynight as ther wernt enough tables or chairs, we enjoyed the company of the bar staff who everytime saw our glasses empty refilled them without asking... this hotel has a beautiful view but what a shame about the food and drink . We were told about the hotel being on a hill not a problem we walked down the steps to the village and got a taxi back 7 lira before and 10 lira after midnight the village is lovely and we found two nice bars to go to Berkhan resturant between the 2 eski depo resturants and rose bar after where the road is up . Now back to the food same thing most days they seemed to recycle most of it turkey veal or chicken we think the drinks were just as bad the lager watered down... more

the litera labranda is advertised as a five star hotel. its true to say the hotel itself was clean and tidy. the room was great with views over the pool and sea. it offered a free use of jacuzi, turkish bath, steam room and sauna. there was only the one pool, but it was fine. however the food was not up to the standard i had expected. it was edible, and you could pick your way thru it.but the waiters were quick to clear away, even if you weren't finished. my husband and i took turns at the self service, simply so we could guard drinks on... more

We were looking for a relaxing holiday and got it. The Lambranda in Gulluk has exellent views however because of the location of the hotel it is not easy to walk to and from the sea and village. Our room was two floors below the reception area and meant the views from our balcony were not good (could only see the sea between some bushes) so I would suggest to anyone to request a room above reception with balcony and sea view!! Quiet Holiday from baustin425
Labranda offers a lovely stay for those who are not looking to shop till you drop. It is a hotel one goes to relax and enjoy a light bit of entertainment every night. The staff are friendly and the views are terrific. The food is healthy and as a school teacher who promotes a healthy balalnced diet to children I would have to highly recommend the food as well as mid afternoon cakes and mid afternoon crepes. A lovely restaurant called "Fuegos" sits at the bottom of the hotel and boasts a beautiful view. The 10 minute walk... more

After 2 weeks at the Labranda hotel we cannot understand people complaining, the hotel is not 5 star but a value for money 4 star, the food is eatable Turkish buffet as was expected, the rooms, viewsand weather great, the price similar to a good b &b, it was our 22nd visit to Turkey and only the 2nd time with lifts, exceptional value for money and if anyone can recommend better it would be nice to here from them.
