Hotel Toros

We went to the toros hotel on the 28th of july we stayed 4 a week.We were greeted by Apole who is very nice he helped us upstairs with are suitcases.the next morning we woke up went down stairs and we met the rest of the people who work there Ali, mehmit, zahit, halil and alis brother, there such nice people you can have a really good conversation with them but you can also have a laugh with them.Its a 2 star holiday so that is what people should expect!The hotel is very nice it has been done owt so some of the reviews are about what it was like before, when i look at the pictures of what it used to be like it is much better now.The cleaners come in everyday and clean your room.we had no problems with water, are room not with anything.its a very nice place and i would recommend anybody t go bt not old people. We are defenately going back, we miss them all and cant wait to see them again.Hannah

Hotel Toros is a well run family business with a great sense of solidarity between its staff and guests. The commitment from all of those at Toros was overwhelming, they work long hours whist remaining focussed with good spirits. The atmosphere is upbeat without the tacky edge that can be evident on some package holidays. Not only does the staff entertain their guest, but they join in with their laughter too.
Toros is a two star hotel that is in need of some work, but you get what you pay for. Although the rooms were basic, I felt very comfortable within my surroundings. The hotel environment and staff exudes character; in my view outweighs the standard of decor. I understand that AliG who runs the hotel has plans to refurbish in the near future.
The bed and breakfast facility is good, and delicious. Free internet access is available at all times. The entertainment was impressive, and a good opportunity to bond with other guests. Turkish night was particularly fun. AliG takes pride in the entertainment and involves himself with some of the dance shows. This is highly recommended!
Altinkum is a small town, and Toros is situated in an ideal location- five minute walk from the beach where the bars and restaurants are situated. The locals are friendly, hassle free compared to Bodrum/Marmris.
I have secured new friendships with AliG, Solomon, Erdem, Mehmet, Zahid, Halil, Apo, all delightful humoured and kind-hearted characters at Toros. I will hold fond memories of my holiday and I will certainly return next year!
