I stayed at the Boston Inn for one night and was primarily working while I was there, and it was a comfortable place to sleep and work. The walls were a bit thin, so I could hear my suspicious-sounding neighbors pretty well, but they and some of the other denizens of the motel were by far the creepiest features, despite the fact that the room was a little quirky and showed some age. It's actually kind of vintage chic. I felt pretty secure, though, as the door was equipped with three sturdy locks. I used them all religiously, though I really don't think there was any cause for alarm.
For a basic accommodation, I was surprised to find that they had nearly new Dell computers in the rooms, as well as free WIFI throughout. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff cheerful and helpful. A free breakfast of good coffee and store-bought donuts was also a nice surprise, as was the eclectic welcome package with deodorant, tampons, a very nice razor (much fancier than mine, I'll be using this one from now on), a granola snack bar, a packet of Emergen-C and some coupons. It was also very conveniently located near grocery stores, restaurants, and the like.
Not a fancy place, but a great value at about $50 for the night. I'd gladly stay there again, though I can't imagine any reason that I'd ever be in Westminster, MD again. For those who wish to stay outside of Baltimore, though, I recommend the place highly.
