Hotel Piccadilly

Booked the Hotel Piccadilly to run a dance weekend this year.
The Hotel had recently been taken over when we booked last year so there was some trepidation as to how they would perform.
No worries. Refurbished the Lounge and now in an elegant art deco style, very airy and fresh. The bedrooms have all had new beds and other soft furnishings and been decorated in the new corporate colour scheme. A rather restful light green. The staff all have a great 'can do' attitude and when there was a slight hiccup they dealt with the problem quietly and efficiently.
The restaurant serves food at the highest end of hotel food. We had half board which gave us chance to compare some of the local restaurants to the hotel food. The Piccadilly won for everyone who ate out. The bar prices were not excessive and neither were the soft drinks.
The dancing area on the lower ground floor can easily cater for the 85 beds in the hotel.
If there was any complaint it would be that some of the rooms are quite small, however as we were just using the rooms to change & sleep it was not a problem. All bedrooms had en-suite facilities.
Would we go again? Yes
We and over 70% of our party re-booked for next year before leaving the hotel.
