The Sugar Beach Club

This is set on the other side of the Olu Deniz lagoon. It is full of litter and evidence of campers who've left rubbish, and dogs who've been allowed to foul the area. If you have young toddlers - I'd beware of the general lack of hygiene. The "beach" has rocky areas and the water dirtier than the other side of the lagoon. The actual Sugar Beach Club looks like a dossers camp site. The so-called "bungalows" are just large wooden garden sheds. There are lots of stray cats who look underfed and wander around even the food areas. Much of this camp looks like its run by "new age settlers" with graffiti and grubiness the norm. Avoid at all costs. Stay in Hisaronu where it is at least clean.

We stayed up in Ovacik last year but travelled down to the Sugar Beach Club almost every day of our two week holiday. This year we will be staying at the Sugar Beach Club in July. They do transfers from your hotel however it is such a nice place I would recommend staying there. It is right on the water of the lagoon and has a sandy beach (unlike the pebbly main beach). Also a bit away from the crowds and feels tranquil and private. There is an on site massage lady so we just get 1 hour massages every day for 20GBP!!!! Such a bargain and a great place to relax. So beautiful to watch the sun setting whilst we sipped cocktails on our bean bag!! Thouroughly love the place and highly recommend for any age group

We were recommended by friends and just returned from a 5 night stay at the Sugar Beach Club. They had only just officially opened for the summer and we had such a great time. It was so relaxing and right on the Oludeniz Blue Lagoon. I wish we had time to stay longer!!
