South Beach Hotel

My wife and I have spent many holidays in Blackpool over the last 13 years including our honeymoon.....(Before going to Tenerife). We have stopped in a different hotels on each occasion. We booked the South Beach via Internet to spend the Easter Weekend Break in Blackpool with our 2 kids (10 & 4) and we could not have hoped for a better stay.
The Hotel was very Warm and welcoming, after arriving late at 9pm, the Manager was waiting at the door for us and kindly ushered us in out of the cold where he explained everything about the hotel in a very warm and welcoming manner, explaining Breakfast times and where everything was located in the hotel. The Manager was also a good source of info for the touristy bit of Blackpool, where and when to visit places, prices etc.
He showed us to our room, which was a well sized family room for the four of us, clean and warm. Bar was very Warm and welcoming along with the staff, who all smiled which makes a great difference from some hotels and hotel groups i have visited in the past.
The Manager explained about weekend entertainments in the bar and welcomed all feedback from the customers, this would help make decisions on him rebooking the acts.
Breakfasts, what can I say. Self service buffet style eat as much or as little as you want, with good selection of hot and cold breakfast, again the staff on hand could not do enough for myself, wife and kids, with the Manager popping in to ensure all were comfortable.
Only very very very slight draw back about our stay was that the double bed in the family room was not the most comfortable, but this is down to personal opinion and did not impact at all on the quality of our stay otherwise 10/10!!
I can safely say that we will return to this Hotel in the future and would reccommend it to all reading this review.
