Hotel Zeytinada

A very good and pleasant stay at this hotel. Stayed here with my two teenage sons. Food I thought was excellent and caters for all, breakfast was a varied choice and a chef would cook either fried eggs or omelette on request.Pool side was good with comfortable sun loungers and beautiful surroundings. Staff were very helpful and very friendly.
No entertainment at night so caught local bus into Bodrum which took approx 10 mins, but left shortly after arriving as it was very overcrowded in the streets.
Took advantage of the free shuttle bus arranged by the hotel to take us to a local private beach that the hotel has an arrangement with. Beware of the prices, as there are no local cafes or shops to purchase drinks from so as there is no alternative, you have to use the bar. Our bill at the end of the day was £65.00.
Hotel prices are expensive, but we used the supermarket for drinks daily and encountered no problems from staff drinking these around the pool area.
Rooms are basic but comfortable, good air conditioning. Television was limited with English channels, but didnt go on holiday to watch tv anyway.
Table tennis, pool and tennis courts available for use and a free use of a computer around reception, although reception area has no air conditioning.
Took a boat trip which included a lunch and all drinks which was good value. lots of opportunities for swimming and diving from the boat with an English guide. stop off at Camel Beach was disappointing as the stay is only 1 1/2 hrs, and if you are not wishing to do water sports or camel riding there was not much to do and we did not want to pay for beds and parasol for such a short time.
Altogether a good stay and would recommend this hotel for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
