Stayed for 6 nights in the Hotel Continental in the Industia District of Palma, the hotel was centrally located, a short walk to all of the city. The spa facilities can be booked by giving 2 hours notice and at all times of the stay we were the only ones to use this.

The rooms are spacious and there is the added bonus of a free soft drinks minibar which is refilled each day. The bathroom is very spacious as was the room and we were lucky enough to have a very big balcony at the front of the hotel. The noise from the road outside was minimal and did not disturb us.

The staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding area was full of good restaurants all of which served reasonably priced food, and it was in easy reach of all of the shops. Would recommend that you use the maps there as it is easy to spend a long time walking around the area.

Also recommend that you take a trip on the Train to Soller and then the tram to Port Soller although be careful with the times of the return journey or you could find yourself waiting for a while to get back to Palma.

One of the best breaks that I have had for a long time and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of going there for the first time. Only word of caution is to be careful of the sun it is much stronger than you think although it was nice to come back with a tan !!!
