We had a cracking time in blackpool, and the welbeck was all we expected for £29 a night, well worth the money!. the rooms were ok, slightly cold as the windows had been left open all night before our arrival. the staff were helpfull and gave us a key for our late returns at night. to be quite honest we didnt spend too much time in the hotel, but on an occasional early night the neighbours were quite noisy, but that may have been a one off.
The only few issues we had were that the beer in the hotel wasnt great and was slightly overpriced (especially compared to happy hour in blackpool!). The main problem I had was that once parked the staff ask for car keys, in the case of needing to move your car. luckily we arrived early and was able to park upto the hotel so i refused. one night whilst asking for a night key, peoples car keys were being given out to other guests to move cars which infuriated me! as they could have just been people of the street!.
all in all, not a bad hotel, very good value for money, follow my advice in regard to the car and you'll be fine. ten min walk into town, and the pub on the way into town serves great food, very interesting menu!

Most I like is staff, we only stayed there for couple of days. Nothing was extra ordernary, it is just a normal hotel like others, but only good thing was staff.
Breakfast in the morning was good, it was served traditionally which lot of hotels don't do, as we been to Hilton and there was self service, we thought it was nice touch when they actually served breakfast to us. We felt well touched.
I would stay it was smooth stay, no big issues.

It was very good location. Good food, great staff members.
Hotel itself needs bit of money spend, but it seems that new owners are changing things slowly.
I was pleased with service aspect. Room I was in had a beautiful sea view. Nice place to spend weekend.
Only thing I didn't like was that they don't do soya milk in breakfast. It was partly my fault that I didn't mentioned at the time of making booking and we arrive on Saturday very late.

This hotel is very tired looking and the rooms are very small. The staff did not help 3 elderly women with their bags. The lift is the old pull across metal door type so if it is left open on one of the upper floor you will be waiting forever. So not a good hotel for people who find it hard to get about. Could not seem to take credit cards. Good points close to centre of Blackpool not much more

This hotel needs closing down its filthy, bedrooms are disgusting booked for two nights only lasted 8hrs.The owner is only interested in taking money would not listen to any of the complaints he was quite aggressive would Never recommend this hotel to any one. It needs to join the other hotel listed in Blackpool as the worst hotel in Europe,i think its the same owners as they share the same web page!
