My partner and I stayed Vaha Spa in Northern Cyprus last September and had a fantastic holiday. The spa has 6 beautiful private circular villas/rooms set in a lemon grove which after a long flight courtesy of some BA delays helped us feel instantly relaxed. (the glass of wine on our balcony also helped).
The spa treatment rooms run off a huge circular pool with loads of sun loungers so I pretty much spent the week alternating between lying on a sun lounger, lying in the pool or lying on a treatment table having one of serveral amazing spa treatments. I had a salt body scrub on day one, a highly recommended way of getting rid of layers of city grime, followed by a massage on day two, detox wrap and facial all of which were as easily as good as treatments i've had in any spa in bigger 5 star hotels.
Vaha is owned and run by an English couple (Gill and Steve) who were always on hand to give hints about places in northern Cyprus to visit or restaurants to try but after about 2 days we'd quickly made up our mind that we probably weren't going to go anywhere because we were enjoying relaxing at Vaha and eating at their excellent restaurant too much to venture very far. (my boyfriend did try mountain biking in the hills behind Vaha one afternoon but quickly chose the option of lying by the pool for the rest of the week). Towards the end of the week we were so relaxed that just the 10 metre trip from our villa to the pool seemed like an enormous excursion.
Vaha is adult only (and with a 3 metre deep pool that is probably a good thing) and is definitely somewhere to go if you want top class spa treatments in a stunning setting but without the usual spa hotel prices. I don't think i have ever come back from a holiday so chilled out and will definitely be going back. The only slight downside is that because it is in Northern Cyrpus you need to fly to Larnaca (or Paphos I think) in the south and cross the border to the North which just adds a bit of time to the journey.
Apart from that I cannot recommend Vaha highly enough.
