Beware the bugs
The place looks great photographed, but in reality is small, dark and unimpressive. The air conditioning unit was very noisy, service and food below avarage and the "ayurvedic" massage a joke. Our room was adequate, but not luxurious. The bathroom missed basic toiletries, like shampoo and showergel and did not seem particularly clean. There where bugs everywhere and the Indian mosquitoes are relentless. Better not stay here if you are worried about malaria. Also there is a busy open air curry place right next to the hotel. You cannot escape the stench !
