We had a group of 12 staying at the Eisfalls in January. We were delighted to see that the slope finished 10 foot from the door, and the Gondola was 20 foot away.
The accomodation is fairly basic, but is clean and comfy, with a seperate lounge area on the top floor.
The chalet host was great, and the food was superb all week long. It is about 5 minutes walk away from the Village centre which meant it was also quiet at night, except for when we were staggering back from a few drinks! We seriously could not have booked a better place to stay, and have already booked again for next year!
St Anton is a skiers paradise. From the Nasserein Gondola (outside the chalet) you can ski direct into St Anton, and then on to Stuben and St Christoph. It is a challenging resort, but nowhere near as hard as we had been lead to believe. When it was busy at the weekend, we headed to rendl (bus from st anton), and had the slopes to ourselves!! Get the bus over to lech and Zurs, as the ski area is immense.
