I have now visited this hotel six times, and I have always been looked after.
The room I request I always seem to get. Having travelled extensively, particularly in this part of the world I think for a three star hotel it is exceptional value for money.
The only unpleasantness I have encountered has been by other UK. citizens and their brat offspring’s who behave as if they have never been anywhere before, this is my only complaint about this hotel.
There is something for every one at this hotel, it is only 25 minutes from Palma, and 5 minutes to Magaluf and over a mile of beach next to the hotel, buses run cheaply cleanly and regularly, and most of all dependable.
Anyone with a family will really enjoy this hotel. I have found reception staff very helpful with any problems and they always seem to resolve them.
Oh my god I don't know why...

Oh my god I don't know why people have given such bad comments! This hotel was fantastic and right near the beach. A small area just for guests.
Also the beach was wonderful and in the hotel there was plenty of sun bathing space either on provided sun lounges or on lilos. Also there was a small space for fishing.
The entertainment was amazing! My kids (teens) loved it and made plenty of friends who are hopping to meet up again next year.
The food and desert was great also, drinks were available all day. Plenty of activities for both adults and kids were available.
There are lots of shops with great stuff to buy. There’s internet access for the kids and adults, it was a great holiday.
Tthe only thing was the showers, as they were not on hoses and couldn't be moved they were stuck in the wall.
The rooms were fine like most other hotels we've stayed in Spain there all the same and you only sleep there your in out of your room all day. But I still don’t see what was wrong with the rooms!
Also a problem was that children under the age of 16 could not get there own drinks if they were all inclusive.
The old adage of you get what...

The old adage of you get what you pay for is definitely true at the Hawaii. The staff are all pleasant, the food is good however the facilities and the rooms are basic.
In fact the rooms are poor. Our room was smelly and there was a lot of noise from the hotel roof and the wind. The room had one plug socket and the rooms do not have hairdryers. This was the first time we had been all inclusive and were shocked to find that the wine was from cartons and that we were served a different type of coffee from those who paid. The pool area is okay but the hotel is badly situated and struggles to get the sun.
The views from the rooms however are very nice. We would not go back to the hotel but then again what do you expect for £20 per night per person on an all inclusive. On a positive note the island is packed with things to do and Palma is a really vibrant city. The caves of Drac also worth a visit.

We have stayed in this hotel about 6 times, are going in 2 weeks for 2nd time this year. Nice situation- near amenities but not noisy- fantastic view from room and terrace. Breakfast 10/10- lunch 6/10-main meal 7/10, included drinks fine-most staff were friendly and helpful-anyone can have a bad day. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. I can not understand some of the adverse comments made by others as we did not meet anyone who seemed unhappy with anything. Definitely value for money. The staff will even listen to a beginner's Spanish with a good natured attempt to understand it.

We found all the hotel staff friendly and helpful throughout out stay.
The room was disappointing, plenty of storage space but the beds were uncomfortable and the bathroom was grubby. An unpleasant odour came from the air conditioning and plug holes when the wind was in the wrong direction. The wooden door to the balcony was rotten and had a gap at the top where it met the frame (I think that’s how the mosquito's got in).
The view of the sea and beaches from the huge balcony was spectacular. We were on the sixth floor and although there was no sound from the bar, the lift and corridor areas were noisy at night.
The breakfast menu was good but the evening meals were repetitive and little choice for children, unless they enjoy chips every night.
Do not visit this hotel if you are not able bodied! Anyone with walking difficulties would find access impossible due to the steep hill and numerous steps.

Every year my family go on holiday as part of a group. This year there where 3 families which included 6 adults and 7 children. We decided this year to go back to the area of Palma Nova and ended up booking the Hotel Hawaii which was in Torranova about 500 meters from the Magaluf strip.
Over the years I have come to really enjoy the people and sites of Majorca and as a family we are considering moving to this terrific island when I retire.
Location - The hotel is up a very steep hill which would be extremely difficult for anyone with mobility issues to actually access on a daily basis. The hotel is extremely well situated for all the local amenities. Try Ruby Tuesdays bar right next door. Good food, good laugh, good with the kids, GREAT PRICES, it also has TV for all major sport happening in the UK.
Hotel Amenities - Our room although a good size it appeared murky all the time, in need of some paint and more modern furniture. Although situated on the 6th floor we where only 10 meters from the main reception, which seemed strange to have the reception right next to your room, the noise at times was quite annoying but something we had to get used to as they refused to move us, even although my 3 year old woke up at least 7 times by the noise outside our door.
We had 6 floors above us and 6 floors to go down to the pool, however if you lived above the 6th floor you needed to get the lift down to the 6th floor and then walk about 150 - 200 meters through the hotel to get the lift to the pool area. A lot of families I spoke to where not happy about this arrangement.
The pool area itself consisted of 1 adult pool and 1 kiddies pool, I thought that the pool area was at times unclean and the drainage around the kiddies pool was unsafe. Needless to say we spent most of our days at the beach which was only 50 meters away. The pool bar I though was very poor standard, it catered for very basis requirements. The main two things that I enjoyed where the evening entertainment and the food, both where of a very good standard.
I would recommend it to anyone. I have been to Majorca about 7+ times and have always found the hotel staff to be that bit better than any other holiday I have been on, the way they help you, the manner in which they speak to you and the relationship they tend to build with the kids and families etc was always very good. Sorry Hotel Hawaii the staff where arrogant and not very helpful. The bar staff in the evening were again unhelpful. I cannot understand why they did not have a waiter service in the bar in the evenings; so many people made do with that 1 drink rather than stand in a queue for 20 minutes just to get served. The staff at Hotel Hawaii leave a lot to be desired.
If you go to Hotel Hawaii use the pool at the Apartment Hawaii as they are more modern and in excellent condition, the whole pool area in the Apartments is of a better quality and better facilities. We found out from other guests that you could use the Apartments only 2 minutes from the hotel, well worth the visit especially if you have young kids.
We are not in the habit of re-visiting hotels we have stopped in the past as all you tend to do is compare, however I would never go back to hotel Hawaii and would not recommend the hotel itself to anyone, it just seems a bit old and outdated and there is better hotels for better value. I did have a great holiday but that was more to do with the people I was with and the amenities around hotel Hawaii rather than hotel Hawaii actually contributing to my enjoyment.

We were a group of 6 lads, when we turned up the reception staff looked unimpressed and continued to seem that way throughout our 2 week stay. All other staff including the cleaners and bar staff were always happy and having a joke with us.
The entertainment staff of Dennis Angela and Lisa were also very good keeping both adults children and especially us occupied with various activities including, pistol shooting, water polo and darts.
The evening entertainment was amazing for kids and we all enjoyed dancing up on the stage to music such as the cha cha slide and running around the room doing the conga.
We were all inclusive and the food was nice but by the second week did begin to become repetitive. The local drinks were free but the beer was terrible so we paid 50cents for a bottle of San Miguel which I really advise doing. You do not have to worry though as you are about a 3 minute walk from the start of the bars on the strip and there’s also food along this strip.
The pool was quite small, but the beach a 2 minute walk away easily makes up for it. The room was adequate with an amazing view but the beds were quite uncomfortable.
All in all this hotel is amazing due to its closeness to town (although fairly close still quite quiet at night), the beach being so close and the great entertainment.

I am surprised to see very bad comments on this hotel. If you are thinking of going to the Hotel Hawaii then try it out. Entertainment was great at night for the kids including mini disco, bingo and day to day shows including men v women, magic shows and a tribute of Rod Stewart.
The entertainers named Hiekie and Denis with a couple others. The food was excellent with very polite staff.
So why not give the Hotel Hawaii a try?

Just back from a two week half board holiday at the Hawaii Hotel would not return! Room was fine with a good view over beach, beds were terrible suffered a trapped nerve in my right arm on the second week. Rooms were cleaned daily although sheets were not. The cleaner is easy to spot she is the pleasant person that smiles and says good morning. Be prepared to be ignored by all other staff.
This hotel had a lot of older Spanish people who do not queue for anything they blatantly push in front of you and if you make comment they start throwing their arms about and shout and still push in.
The food was okay for adults but try to feed a 3 year old child veal, squid and the likes for two weeks, he lived off pasta and chips at the hotel we had to buy meals outside for him after paying half board, complained to the rep who spoke to manager who stated the meals were suitable for all ages. They only sell large bottles of water to Spanish people, why?! Hotel policy! But why! Hotel policy?
They will sell you small bottles for 1.70.euro hotel profit!

Definitely take the transfer offered to you from your tour operator as it was just so easy to come out of the airport, jump into a bus and head to the hotel. We were the only ones on the bus! Definitely worth the money, there and back!
The hotel lobby is very trendy and open. They have a fantastic computer/internet center with 4 computers open at €1 for 10 minutes. It is accessible 24 hours a day. The receptionists are not all that friendly or helpful.
We asked for a non-smoking room - they don't have any! We stayed in a 4 single bed room (a quad room) which was big with lots of closet space - only 10 hangers though, and they couldn't give us any more, so our clothes ended up sitting on the chairs and stools. If they took care of that, it would open up a lot more space in the rooms! The beds were extremely uncomfortable, but the view from our room made up for it! The view over the ocean is just beautiful, with the boats harboured there, and the beach to the left. It was awesome!
The room is cleaned every day, although your sheets are changed only when you leave. The cleaner was always singing, and the hotel cleaning staff were really friendly.
You have to rent the hairdryer, key for the safety deposit box, kettle, basically anything you need for your room, and pay a deposit on top (which of course you get back so long as you return the item.) You pay for the rental up front.
The entertainment people, Dennis and Angela, are fantastic. They kept the kids busy and the kids always got certificates and medals at the disco at night.
The food is plentiful, but not at all tasty. They basically served the same thing all the time, and there were chips seven days a week - they need a decent chef to shake it up a little - maybe do a Mallorcan night one night, a French night one night, whatever, it wouldn't cost any more, and it would have been much more successful.
The hotel is also full of older Spanish couples on holiday, so they are also having to cater for that too. So watch your tables and chairs at night as they go missing when the bingo and entertainment starts!!
It seems like with a little bit of thought, this hotel could be top notch as their place on the beach is fantastic, and the hotel itself is great, but little things could just make it fantastic! Change the chef, put new mattresses on the beds and warm the pool a little and that would be it!

I stayed at the Hawaii in 2005 with my family, 3 of which hadn't traveled abroad before. We all really enjoyed our week in Palma Nova and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The nightlife was excellent as well as daytime entertainment.
We had a perfect view from our hotel room and apart from the damp smell in our room we will be returning again this year!!!! :):)

This is one of the best holidays i have ever been on, and when it got to the end of my holiday I did not want to leave. We stayed all inclusive and I have no complaints about how we got treated by the staff, they were always friendly polite and helpful, giving everyone the holiday spirit.
The entertainment staff were A*. They made the holiday, providing entertainment all day for children and adults alike, and stunning shows operated throughout the night, with shows brought in and also audience participation.
The rooms were cleaned on a regular basis and we also had clean towels and plenty of toilet rolls.
The food was ok, we've had better but it was not the poorest. We had a wide selection to choose from.
After having a superb holiday we have tried booking into the hotel for the past 2 years but is always fully booked, but have finally managed this year, and we can't wait to get there again.
One downside is the pool was too cold to go in, but what do you expect in Feb.
Even if you get fed up of the hotel, plenty of bars and nightlife surround it, it is the perfect location.
Would recommend to families.

Hotel was good only down side is the trying to sleep due to the uncomfy beds but that’s probably just me.
Great time of year to visit as there are not a lot of the young crowd about.
Families have a great time here. nice pool, great view from the balcony. Food was good and always had something for the son to eat.
Going back this year but to the hotel round the corner from the Hawaii just for a change. I cant wait!
Join in with the games and entertainment at the hotel and you will have a good time.
Also you can entertain yourself watching the Spanish holiday makers[pensioners] asking for your seat at night and trying to get the best view of the entertainment. Not many of them buy a drink. Just watch and keep a close eye on your seat. Have a great hol!

We thought the accommodation was good basic but just what you need for how much time you spend in it towels and beds seen to every day by maids and the reception staff were always polite and helpful although sometimes waiters and bar staff not as polite.
The food was okay we always managed to fill our boots although have had better.
Entertainment was good always something for adults and kids alike. Denis one of the entertaining reps was or should I say is an asset to that hotel he always made us laugh and have a good time he is a superstar A+++++++.
We enjoyed it so much we have just earlier today booked to go again May next year and I for one cannot wait

The flights were on time, reps met us at airport and guided us to bus collection point. overall journey was quite pleasant. the rooms in the Hawaii were rather small but, they were comfortable, they were cleaned every other day, toilet rolls were plentiful which is a great relief to a lot of English tourists. There were two pools so ample space to just soak up the sun and relax and the eating facilities were also very good with a wide choice of menus, and if there was something else that was not on the menu there were plenty of restaurants with in a five minute walk. The only down side to these apartments is that they are at the top of a steep hill with a slippery pavement so whey wouldn’t suit the elderly or wheelchair bound people. In ending it is my second stay at the Hawaii apartments and I am sure there will be many more.
