I looked for ages to find a bargain place to stay, and then I discovered this hotel. We paid 90 euro for the room for 1 night. We were only going to Dublin for 1 night so I didn't want to spend a fortune on somewhere to stay. So this hotel was ideal.
It is really central.
If flying to Dublin airport, go to the bus information desk (next to tourist information) in the arrivals hall. The cheapest ticket for us was a family bus ticket which was good for the whole day and cost 8.50 euro. Single journey to Dublin is 6 euro. The bus we got was the 747 which took about 20 minutes to get into Dublin. It only stops at O'Connell St and the bus station. Get off on O'Connell street and walk to the left, opposite way from the needle. Parnell St West is up the street.
The place itself could do with a makeover, but it is clean and tidy and is everything you could need. The bed was comfy, TV in room, ensuite which looked recently refurbished, soap and shower gel in bathroom, towels provided. The breakfast in the morning was ideal, cereal, tea, coffee, oj, then a cooked breakfast with toast.
The staff were very helpful and very informative.
Would definatly stay here again.
