Granby House

Friendly and clean, comfortable beds, hospitality tray in the room, excellent breakfasts cooked to order, and wonderful hosts Jo and Martin made this a home from home.
The bathroom in our room was tiny but the facilities themselves were excellent.
We found Granby House by chance on the internet and highly recommend it. It is in a quiet street but only a couple of minutes to the front.
Public transport - you see a lot of the countryside and villages as even the 'express' routes take a long time, the timetables are mere guides. However the North Wales Pass is good value giving 8 consecutive days of bus travel and 4 days of trains within the 8 day period - the price includes travel on the Ffestiniog railway. If you want an information pack with the Pass, book before you go as the railway station has nothing other than the ticket.
Restaurants - Romeos, Buttercups and Home Cooking although the best hot chocolate can be found in Gerrards
