The bedrooms are comfortable though some would probably say they are dated (1970s style) but you don`t go on holiday to look at the decor. Each room has an en suite bathroom. The rooms are cleaned daily but you have to request a change of towels or table linen if required. The staff are mainly Portuguese but communicating with them is quite easy as they have a good command of our language.
The meals served are English - 4 course breakfast and 5 course dinner (if you can eat them all) and the food is beautifully cooked. The service in the restaurant is excellent - as soon as you have finished one course the waitress is there to remove your plates and take your order for the next course.
There is an area to sit outside and a small swimming pool - also a gym but we didn`t use any of these facilities so cannot say anything about them
If there is any downside to staying here at all it would probably be that the hotel is situated on the main A3 road out of the town and can be very busy - especially on Saturday night, but you get used to the traffic noise. The other possible disadvantage would be that there are three floors and no lift. If you are not very mobile you would need to request a room on the first floor. It also takes a couple of days to find your way around but the staff are helpful and will direct you if, like us, you lose your way. By the third day we had got used to where our room was so we found our way more easily.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and if we ever go back to Jersey would be happy to stay there again.
