very good hotel on the beach .evening entertainment good food reasoably priced .very clean lovely people and nice area cant fault it

had a great holiday with my extended family. grace was excellent she couldn't do enough for us, we went in late may so there wasn't a lot of other people there and it was perfect.
The room where very clean and the gardens and pool area where very well kept, would like to go again!!
Would recommend it to anyone

This hotel is in a lovely spot, straight off the hotel doorstep onto a great beach.
The hotel itself is clean, the rooms are spacious and the staff are great and helpful.
We travelled with our two sons (10 & 7), whilst the hotel is more geared to an older age, this was perfect for us as we did not want teenagers falling through the door at 5am, drunk.
The entertainment is geared to the over 60's but is ok; the food can be bland but is plentifully.

The hotel is excellent, staff very friendly, but do not travel to Albufeira Old Town until at least next year as unfortunately they have taken the entire town up to lay a new sewage system.
Unfortunately we were not informed about this before our travel and Airtours do not seem to think they needed to tell us.
Will definitely go back again next year despite the disappointment this time, but would not travel with Airtours. They definitely let us down this time.

Had a great time at the Marina Sol with the family.
Grace is the perfect host and I hope that she continues to run the apartments as they are very clean and the gardens are excellent. The pool area is always well kept and a great size for familes.
I just wonder what travel company is promoting Marina Sol this holiday season 2006 as I cannot find them listed anywhere.

Excellent clean apartments. Very friendly staff ,nice and relaxing atmosphere. Bar food delicious and reasonably priced.
Just 5/6mins walk from the centre where all the bars and restaurants are situated. A good selection of Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Portuguese, English and Irish restaurants.
A very enjoyable holiday, would highly recommend it for every one, although the marina sol apartments are mainly suited for families but the actual resort will decently suit young people as well.

Ive been to this hotel a year ago and going back in April. How anyone can say its filthy is beyond me
We found it spotless with a beautiful bar area.
All the staff wer great. we only paid £10 a night each and the view was amazing. the hotel isnt luxury but very portugese and different.It isnt suitable for children as they havent an outside pool, but its right on the beach
