Hotel was spotless, great atmosphere and the best ski holiday I have had so far, staff were very friendly and I thaught the food was awesome, we were able to ski to door and the ski hire equipment was of good quality, in fact there were 8 of us and we all enjoyed the holiday so much we are all returning in Jan 09 with another 15 people.

I can't wait ++++++

The description in the Thomson brocure said' ski to door, conditions permitting ' well that would be true if you could negitiate your way across the often busy main road over 100 yards away infront of the Vicky, and then a private field.



The Hotel staff are effecient and friendly, the manager is a hard working chap who runs the weekly pop quiz.



The drift inn bar has a relaxed atmosphere with a two hour ' happy hour' from 4-6pm and reasonable prices. You can get snacks from here also. Pizza.



Breakfasts are good with both hot and cold food on offer. get there quick if you like friut as it goes rapidly. The toasters are self serve and may trip the lights if all used at once.



Evening meals are three course and vary greatly in quality and prensentation.

Poor example was a sopping wet and over cooked and somewhat inedible pasta dish to an excellent Duck main with orange ju and mash and fresh perfectly cooked veg.



The rooms are fairly spacious and the ensiute a bonus all kept tidy by the staff.

Hotel not very clean, particularly bathrooms, manager not very experianced, Childrens entertainment limited, Cooked breakfasts were poor, although the evening meals were exellent(different chef!!). the hotel is very well positioned with about 200yards to main gondalla and ski scchool and hire shops. Nice atmosphere in the bar at night. but very poor entertainment on offer during our stay. On Chefs night off (Wed) go to Westlhoff hotel resteraunt and have thier speical for 2 people (I bet you cannot eat it all!!!!!) Resort sking limited with only 2 very easy blacks although some of the reds were as hard as the blacks.Blues up the mountain are little more than near level tracks to get to the top of red runs. No easier runs down the mountain for the less experianced, only resonable blues are the nursery slopes. Apres ski limited.

Ski school is well run with small classes. Well worthtaking ski bus to Auffech much more variety of runs, wider slopes but a lot mour people.

This resort suits some people who go back time and time again, but we won't be returning in a hurry
