When my friend and i went in early march we couldnt fault the hotel or the staff. We stepped off the coach and thought we had got off at the wrong hotel due to the hotel lobby looking fantastic more of a 5* than a 4*. The staff were very friendly and helped you in any way they could, especially the entertainment staff. You couldnt ask more from the rooms, they were spacious and it looked like no expense was spared with the furnishings. It's definatly a place for all ages as my friend and I are 19, and we liked it just as much as the family of four, and the older clientel. I can safely say i'll be going back next year if not sooner. I'd especially like to thank daniella, lourdes, and lewis for making it feel like a home from home.

We have just arrived home from the Benalmadena Palace yesterday after spending a short 4-day break there. We certainly found the rooms to be very clean (although we had only one change of towels during our stay and our room cleaned once) and the staff to be very helpful and friendly.
I would definitely advise anyone with heart conditions or breathing or mobility problems to stay well clear as the hill leading up to the hotel is breath-taking to say the least!
All in all we had a lovely break, although I don't know whether we would stay there again - it's hard to know if it will keep it's standards to a high level once it's been opened a few months/years.
At the moment everything is very new and even the parasols around the pool were just being put up while we were there. Although I must say all workmen carried out their work as discreetly as possible and didn't cause too much chaos.

We stayed here for two weeks and enjoyed it. Weather was great, staff were great especially Antonio the entertainment organizer, pools were brilliant although outdoor a little cold due to time of year, kids lived in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. BUT!!! The kids club wasn't finished, our rooms were only cleaned 3 times, bedding only changed twice and only when we nagged reception. Towels only changed when we asked, piles of dirt in corners were there when we arrived and didn’t move all the 2 weeks (if this carries on don’t know what it will be like in a few weeks).
To get to the hotel the hill is really steep and some people had to hire cars to get up as they could not climb it we had a pram and struggled and we are quite fit anyone with walking difficulties definitely shouldn’t go to this hotel.
For great food try Potters on the sea front and Penny-Farthing. Go to Tsivili world we had a great day out and if you don't use the rides you only pay a small entrance fee, the market there is very good. This hotel will be excellent once they iron out the creases. Afraid Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola weren't our cup of tea and don't think we'd go again.

We stayed at these apartments at the end of Feb. for a week, and I must admit was a little shocked at the reaction of some guests! As we found the place wonderful. The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, the cleanliness was outstanding and the facilities were very good for somewhere that is newly opened. The children (4,7) were never out of the pools (indoor and out) and made to feel very comfortable with the staff (secret handshakes, special hot choc and hilarious darts matches!) the rooms are cleaned every other day, new towels, toiletries etc.english speaking staff, sauna and steam room will worth indulging in.even the jaccuzi was great) the kids loved it!) The mini market isn’t open yet but just down the road is a brilliant supermarket with a small bakery and butchers, and all very good prices. The outside pools are lovely with plenty of sun lounges, tables, and chairs. Five to ten minutes walk away is a long row of shops, tobacconists, cafes and restaurants (give Shakespeare's a go, lovely food and staff) all in all our holiday was fab, relaxing and fun and we’ve booked to go again in August. Some of the guests were very rude and abusive to staff, as they were not satisfied with what they had been given, and to the staff all I can say is well done, keep up the good work and we’ll see you soon!!!!!!

This is a new hotel and therefore it is still in development, firstly though as of when I was there the lounges were yet to be finished and the minimarket was not there, however I decided the building work would not deter me and it didn’t. The builders were present in the hotel but noise was kept to the minimum. (I stayed in the first week of opening). The indoor pool was excellent and then Jacuzzi and steam room also were good. The gym was small but had a lot of different machinery in there, the staff were very friendly and the happy hours kept the guests happy, the snack bar and disco pub could not have been faulted neither could the outside pool. The room was not as big as I expected but it was still a good room with a great view. People who I spoke to said the food was good although I never sampled it and although it is situated on the top of a hill there is plenty of bars and restaurants close by. I would recommend it.

We have just got back after staying for a week at Benalmadena Palace.
We found the apartment spacious and the furnishings were great but the room was only cleaned twice and the second time it was only partly cleaned. We noticed a leak in our apartment and had to alert the reception of this and we were provided with another room.
The lobby and reception was very luxurious, both the indoor and outdoor pool were excellent as was the bar and the bar staff, who were very friendly and approachable.
We sampled the food in the restaurant only once. We were shown to the table, however we had to wait a while before being served a drink and did not get told it was self service until we asked. We also felt there was not a wide variety of food choices. The snack bar served food up until late afternoon however we felt the service was very poor.
The hotel was located at the top of a very steep hill, however this was advertised in the brochure. There was a burger king about two minutes away but the main restaurants were about a 10-minute walk away. We felt the location of the hotel was close to the beach and there was a supermarket about 5 minutes away, however the hotel was far from many of the attractions but the buses ran frequently.
Overall the hotel was nice but is more suitable for a family with young children. (Ps if you go you will be fed up of sky news after your holiday, lol)
