Its what you make of it.

We had an interesting stay at the hotel, however it made the holiday what it was.
The Hotel is named after the owner Odysseas, who in himself was very comical, in a way a bit like the Greek version of Basil Fawlty, but not so bad.
Helena the Barmaid also was really friendly and always went out of her way to mkae our stay enjoyable.
The hotel itself was really nice outside with a small pool, but never busy, so you could use it at anytime of the day. Odysseas was very proud of the pool filter that he imported from America at a great price and if you ask will take you to have a look at it.
The rooms are of an ok standard, with a good size rooms, but if staying there please do not expect the Ritz. The rooms are at a standard that you will be ok to sleep in them but not to stay in them for any great time.
The Bar area was of a high standard with large parm trees providing shaded areas.
The breakfast was ok, if you like cheese, bread and hard boiled eggs.
The Area of polychrono is somewhere that the greek people go themselves on holiday so you know its going to be good, there are several restaurants that offer great service and great food, however a note of warning, if you like spicy food, I would suggest taking a bottle of pepper sauce with you.
The beach itself is nice and the sea is great for a swim.
One bonus, is that there are no night clubs in the town so ideal for a relaxing holiday, however there are night clubs a taxi ride away. The bars in the town are good for drinking and do have music playing, but not OTT.
One mention has to go out for the British cafe...... I dont go out of my way to look for an english cafe, and this one if tucked down a side street, but the owners were really nice, and the meal sizes were HUGE. A really good taste of home, if you get fed up with greek food.
One warning, we had a mini cyclone the week we stayed, but according to the hotel owner had never happened since he lived there for over 30 years.

The Hotel Odysseas is a small family...

The Hotel Odysseas is a small family run hotel, only a few yards from the beach. It is in a small quiet side street. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very clean, as is the whole hotel.
There was a good selection of foods for your breakfast each day. It is ideal if you want a quiet relaxing holiday. There is no entertaiment at the hotel, the poolside bar just has background music playing, even this is switched off at midnight.
The hotel is a short walk from many other bars and taverna's so if you want a little more entertainment its not far away. For a more livelier time you have to go to Hanioti, which is only 5 minutes in a taxi. A good night out is on Saturday nights at the akropolis restuarnat in the nearby village of Kriopigi, a Greek night with a difference!
For a quiet relaxing holiday I can highly recommend this Hotel and Village. We are certainly going back.
