We booked two rooms at the Casa Mitchell for one week and can honestly say that the accommodation was superb.
The apartments were spotlessly clean, with maid service every day except Sundays and they were equipped with everything you could possibly need. All the rooms have balconies which overlook the small swimming-pool/bar/terrace area which is set in the Casa Mitchell's own lovely gardens.
The Portuguese lady, and her family, who run the apartments are very friendly and helpful, and I would recommend the apartments to anyone!

For sheer value for money this is the place! Super location, clean rooms, peacefull setting and a charming Portuguese lady owner to boot!
You can pay through the nose for more well known and better advertised accommodation, or you can book into Casa Mitchell.

We stayed at these apartments in April 2005.They were clean, well equipped with access to a nice pool. They are a five minute walk to the centre of the old town and beach. Very quiet at night but not far from the action. Very well positioned with plenty of on street parking if you hire a car.

Paul & I could not fault this accommodation! The owners keep the pool and apartments immaculate.
My parents George and Jill and my sister Gina with her partner Mike have all stayed here time after time and we cannot recommend the accommodation highly enough! Carla and her mother Amelia are extremely hospitable and go beyond their duty in both the comfort of their guests and their welfare.
We are reluctant to go anywhere else incase it does not live up to the "Casa Mitchell" Experience!
