Hi i had 2 write somthing when i got back of hoilday after reading all the bad reviews yes it was not a 4star hotel by our stands. And building was going on all around the place but when you are out most of the day you can not here a thing. The staff were lovly the room was clean every morning she would come and clean the room leave us fresh towels. Yes if you came back from skiing and jumped in the shower the water was not piping hot but later on it was great. There may be no bathes in the apartments but there is a hot tub. There is a very relaxed atmosphere in the bar the staff will sometimes come and have a drink with you there English is not great but they do try and there is no words that a smile can not say. The food was great alot of choise do try there soups they were fab i kept going back for more and the deserts were great to pancakes with warm choclate sorce and many others. We went late one night and the buffet had finched so we had some food of the menu that was 5* and my Dad is a chef that runs a chane of restronts. With great name around cumbria. The water was lovly he helped us to chose a Bulgarian wine. You must try there wines are lovly. So dont be scared make your own mined up and if you have problems speek nice to your rep and she will sort it out. Enjoy your hoilday

Beware if you have booked the Grand Montana... if it's not too late book elsewhere!
The panorama brochure states this is a new build 4 star hotel with swimming pool, rooms with baths, games room etc... the reality is that this accommodation does not even come up to the standard of a 3 star, the 'leisure' facilities were not working during our one week stay - the pool being drained, there are no rooms with baths, there is no games room, although a new build the build standard is poor with fixtures and fittings broken, for example, our shower consisted of a hose as the end of the shower had broken off, although this was trivial when compared to the fact that we only had cold water to shower in all week along with half of the other guests!
Prior to booking we requested a cot.. on arrival no cot was available.. it took 3 days for a broken and dirty cot to arrive. Some days we had no towels and when we asked at reception if we could have some towels we were greeted with shrugged shoulders and told laundry was closed and we'd get some the following day!
The food was a disgrace...cold, stale and inedible...there were queues of people lined up to complain to the holiday rep. We saw people in tears and shouting at the rep. So much for getting away from it all for Christmas!
The brochure does not show that the apartments are located in a building zone that is not safe for children. You are surrounded by building sites where it appears common practice to simply dump the building spoil from excavations just next door to the apartment. As the coach drove up to the apartment there were comments from fellow passengers comparing the location to Beirut.
I went into another 4 star hotel to compare the standard (Hotel Pirin), this hotel is what you would expect from a 4 star.
Positives are the skiing facilities are great...I would go back to Bansko but would not go to the Grand Montana...needless to say I am seeking my money back.
