Coral Sands Boutique Hotel

What a relief after the surburban squalor of the South Coast of Barbados to arrive at this excellent small, well managed hotel. The rooms are large, spotless, well equipped with kitchens, sitting areas, and large balconies with magnificent sea views. The pool and surrounding lounger area are small but well appointed and very floral. There is a good poolside bar serving light daytime snacks and drinks. Try to get a room on the 3rd floor. Found the apartments to be clean,spacious and well-equipped overlooking a wonderful beach.The road behind the property is horrendous so be careful walking to The Gap,very busy.The area of Worthing is not particularly pretty and to be honest we were unimpressed with Barbados,not the idyll we expected.Rubbish left everywhere,pavements non existent and some locals not friendly at all,in fact fairly rude at times.Food in general over-priced and not of a great standard(we tried the Lucky Horseshoe,David`s,Sweet Potato and Pisces,Carib Beach Bar... more

This hotel was new since our last visit to Barbados, and we were extremely impressed by its design and location. This is a hotel for people who are not concerned about having a wide range of facilities available, but do want excellent accommodation which is good value, comfortable and quiet. The rooms are some of the best we have ever stayed in, and the property is so well constructed that we heard no noise at all from other guests through the walls and floors. We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during the Labor day holiday. to say we were pleased would be an understatement. with out a doubt, we will stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised when my boyfriend booked this hotel. The truth is that the rooms are large, clean, standards similiar to an all inclusive like sandals or even the marriot. the staff was pleasant, the enviornment quiet, peaceful and romantic especially hearing the waves splashing on the shore. This place is really beautiful. The only dissapointment was the lack of beach chairs. But i will be back before the year ends for sure.

I booked this hotel after reading the favourable reviews on tripadvisor and was not disappointed. The hotel is not a typical tourist hotel as there is no entertainment but it´s in vicinity of St. Lawrence Gap and two supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, etc. so it´s located very convenient. I was recommend this hotel at my place of employment and from reviews on trip advisor we choose here to stay. We were pleased.Centrally located. Check in was quick and the porter was there to help with the bags. Rooms were huge with a kitchen, bedding area, sitting area, double sinks in bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. My wife, daughter and myself have just returned from an eight night stay at the Coral Sands Beach Resort. This was our first time staying on Barbados and relied quite heavily on the Trip Advisor comments. I am pleased to say the Coral Sands is a hotel that truly matches the pictures and descriptions located on their web site, as well as the favorable Trip Advisor comments. We have recently returned from a stay at the Coral Sands Beach Hotel, and it was everything we expected, after reading the reviews. We, (that is, my daughter, husband & myself) were there from 30 April - 11May. We booked the coral sands based on the excellent reviews on this site which are definitley well deserved. The rooms are spotlessly clean & spacious, the location is ideal - close to restaurants & bars, staff are friendly & helpful and the beach was perfect. We will definitely return in the future
