Aida Holiday

Sep 2011, Whaler97

We had a fantastic time here in Club Aida. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and create a good atmosphere with in the place. The location is perfect as it's not to near all the hustle and bustle of the clubs and the beach, however it's not to far from everything so we had nice walks to restaurants and the beach front. Our apartment was nice and airy with a fantastic balcony over looking the pool and the bar. The bedroom was fully air conditioned and had a lot of space in it. There was a big double and wardrobe space also a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. The living area was nice and light with a fully modern kitchen and sofas. The kitchen had everything you would expect and the room was fully kited out with all the appliances and even a television. The pool was great it was cooling and very clean and there was also another mini kids pool with 2 water slides in it. It was also great as there is no rush at all to get a sunbed and even up to 11am there are still sunbeds available. Inside the hotel on the ground floor there was a spa which was very relaxing and which offered great treatments. A Hairdressers led by Regi and his team! A jewelers and a tattooists. There was a sweet stall and also a wonderful bar which offered a range of soft drinks and cocktails. On the first floor there was what we would call a corner shop where you could by basics and also floats and inflatables for the pool. The lift from the 1st floor down to the poolside and ground floor is clear so you get a good view of Marmaris. This was overall a fantastic holiday and I would really like to go back

we have just returned from a week in club aida and i cant understand anyone who puts a bad review about this hotel,it really is stunning, the pool is amazing and the entertainment team are brilliant and made us very welcome, always taking time to come over and shake our hands and talk to us,daytime entertainment was very enjoyable, especially the killer pool which i won twice ha ha, the staff and maid are also very friendly, everything is only a short walk away so location is also excellent, we cant wait to return again in september for 2 weeks this time hopefully

I went to club aida as a family holiday with my mum,dad and brother we have been to marmaris three times but club aida was the best. The rooms were very clean and our mnaid came every day but the maids do expect a tip wich we found very rude but the rest of the staff were very nice and good with kids. The food was amazing and we ate in almost every night we did go out a few nights. The pool shuts at 6 and then the place prepares for nighttime the market come in on some nights and there is a turkish night but you have to book tickets bt i recomend it as its a great night.I went to the spa to get a treatment it ws amazing and we really enjoyed it there was a short rain shower when we were there but the turkish people helped us they gave us shelter and towels over all i would recomend this hotel and try the jeep sufari wich was amazing but not really good for children as there is big hoses and you get hit and its quite sorebut be very carefull at the pool as when its wet can be very slippy .

Me and my friend have been going to marmaris for 11 years now so i thought i would up the market a bit on the hotel we stayed at this year , it was ok but we felt the staff were not so warm towards you as other places unless you were 17 /18 and built like a model . it was also out the way which meant we used taxis more than ever this time , the rooms were good but the beds were sooooooo uncomfortable we were having to sleep at the beach during the day cause we never got any sleep at night also if you wanted to catch up with sleep during the afternoon forget it the music would be loud never seemed to calm down . i would give it a 3 out of 5 but i will not be going there again .

Best hotel in Marmaris

Me, my wife and 2 daughters (6 and 1) are just back from a week at Club Aida. It has to be without doubt the best hotel we have visited and indeed the best holiday we've been on.
The hotel is ideally located in Marmaris, It is about a 10-15 min walk to the beach and is a short walking distance from most of the best restaurants. The hotel itself is very modern with up-to-date facilities in the room. The pool onsite is probably the biggest in Marmaris as well. There is also a couple of slides as well as a smaller pool for babies and smaller kids.
Air Conditioning, Safe box, Pay TV and Fan and Latecheck out are all extra however we found the hotel card system very easy to use. You have to use this for everything as it’s a cash free zone (except for Monohair, the Jewellers and the Gift Shop), everything is reasonably priced though.
All of the staff from the entertainers, to the reception staff to the cleaners do a brilliant job. I have to give a special mention to Oktay (Maitre D) Ozum (Guest relations) and Latife (Cleaner) who all helped us in their different ways.
Outside the hotel we ate at the Sweet Corner restaurant 4 nights out of the 7. The food there was brilliant and Jack and Carlos and the boys do a brilliant job there. Also are in Always restaurant and the food there was really good too. The prices in Marmaris are really good and you get real value for your money. We never spent any more than £30 on a meal for 4 of us. A lot of places will let your kids eat for free but you have to ask them!!
The Aquadream waterpark is at the top of the hill from Club Aida but we didn’t go and didn’t do any excursions either. We preferred to lie by the pool every day especially when the weather is 45-50 degrees ever day what else is there to do???
Had an absolutely fantastic time at the Aida and will definitely be booking up to go in 2011.

Arrived back late on Monday night and already thinking of booking again. We were at Club Aida two years ago but decided to return this year to see a bit more of Turkey and also because we loved these apartments. We stayed for two weeks.
The apartments are lovely. Spacious and extreamly clean with plenty of storage space should you wish to unpack for your stay. Maids in most days I think and they really work so hard and are always shouting good morning to you.
The best bit about this hotel is the pool. Never any problem to get a sunbed no matter what time of the day you arrived at the pool. There were some people reserving beds from early morning who then didn't appear until late afternoon but they put up sigs just as we were leaving so hopefully this should stop. As I said though we had no problems finding some even if they were a bit further from the pool.
The staff are all amazing. Everyone from the cleaners to the bar staff and all the entertainers are so nice. There is always something going on like darts, pool games with surf boards, snooker, bingo....anything and everything but if you're like me and want to relax by the pool then the sunbeds with mattresses are brilliant. So comfy. One down point is that the night entertainment is a little amateur. Great if you have kids but not my cup of tea. Still though you can tell they work hard. The resturant in the hotel is also good and good value for money. Maybe a little more expensive than outside but the food is worth it.
Honestly cannot rave enough about this hotel and I will be back next year.
One final work about Marmaris is to definately explore the Marina area for some really nice resturants and also the Bazar is great for some bargains, remember to hagle.

We booked 8 weeks before we travelled through First Choice, exellent travel agent service. The flights were good day time flights, airline saff friendly. The Club Aida Hotel, brilliant, very clean no less than 13 cleaners cleaning the sunbeds on 2 occassions during the 10 days we were there, room changed every day and always wth a personal touch i.e. a small flower left or the towels folded beautifully, the food good and no more expensive than eating out, the head waiter Itach and the head chef Octag both so helpful friendly and really made everyone feel special, nothing was ever too much trouble. The pay on your hotel card was brilliant as no need to carry any cash or handbags about with you. Entertainment every night was different so catered for everybody during the week, with Turkish dancing, belly dancers, break dancing, magic shows etc etc. Two good places to each out was Cousins just out of hotel entrance ,cross the road and 5 minute walk on left hand side, beware happy hour all the time, so whenever you order even water you get 2. Also out of hotel entrance turn right, follow path to trafic lights and pub on corner opposite serves good food. Boat trip around Islands wonderful but food served on boat was rubbish, a burger, spaghetti and a bit of salad, deffinately worth the trip though. Markets are manic, good fun and brilliant if you don't mind haggling as nothing in the shops or in the market is priced with the exception of the supermarkets, and you can pay in English money, Turkish money or even the Euro. Wine very expensive the cheapest we found was about £6.00 average price approx £15 - £20.00. Would deffinatly go to Turkey again
