This was the first time we have been to Turkey and because of the staff attitude here and the very poor food I doubt very much that I will go back.
The hotel room and grounds are not to be faulted as are the cleaning staff and garden workers, but these are not customer facing. The staff that should looked at are the restaurant staff and the bar staff, The former will never look you in the face and it leaves a very unsatisfactory feeling, they whip plates and cutlery from your table without looking or speaking to you almost before you have finished and if you were to leave your table unattended to get a drink it will be cleared.
The bar staff never smile and are never quick to serve, almost as if they are doing you a favour. The Reception staff were actually hostile towards us on a couple of occasions.
The food is almost all of a very poor quality and served from cold to warm, a lot of processed meat is used and when there was roasted chicken it was being pulled apart by the gloved hands of a staff member and placed on your plate (heaven forbid I might have selected a piece of breast).
Fresh orange juice is charged for (yes in an all inclusive)
Relaxing around the pool area is ok if you can ignore the constant very loud pounding music from the very large speakers, this music seems to be there for the staff as no one I spoke to required it.
The nightly entertainment is a joke! This is provided by the leisure staff miming to songs and is below Rep-Night level, no professional entertainers involved here.
Beer wine, tea, coffee and water are available to self serve, but why not soft drinks?
I could see no ice cream for the children, only that which was bought from the shop.
To sum up this holiday:- The hotel and grounds for both park and club are first class
but let down extremely badly by the quality of food, third rate entertainment and unfriendly staff in the restaurant and main bar. Once here there is nowhere to walk
to as this complex is a long way down a track from the main road and nothing at the main road end to walk to, so you are stuck with the problems and they know it.

We have just returned from a week at the majesty tuana and i can say it is probably the best holiday we have had. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment team were very good there was plenty to get involved in during the day and sometimes even in the evening entertainment. The food was lovely and plenty to eat and drink all day and night. Overall we would have no hesitation in recomending to anyone. A fantastic holiday all round.

Having booked our holiday at the Majesty Tuana through Travel Counsellors and Thompsons we were thoroughly spoilt and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the main park, and our teenage daughters had a seperate room next to ours. The fridges in the room held water and soft drinks and it was possible to re-stock them from the fridges at the bars. Chilled beer and water was always available and it was really helpful to be able to serve ourselves. The Night Club was ideal for older teenagers and the girls made wonderful friends - thankyou Charlie, Katie, David, James, Ashleigh, Sim, Calum - you know who you are and just how much fun you had - late night dips in the pool, lazing on the sunbeds on the jetty and diving into the sea from the diving board.
Loved the choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - nearly had to book extra space seating for the flight home - and the red wine was as good as we would buy at home. The Jeep Safari - is out of this world, and excellent value - if you enjoy being thoroughly entertained, soaked, shaken and stirred whilst admiring wonderful scenery and experiencing typical Turkish village life, a mud bath, tube river rafting (fantastic and worth the extra £10 per person), ice cold and clear water river bathing and rainbow trout for lunch and even a dip in the pool at the roadside services (yes - really) on the way home....just to remove the last traces of mud! The Animation Team are everything that the other reviewers say. And who cares if you have to get up at 7am to reserve a sunbed - at least it gives you the chance to jump in the sea and float around in the almost warm (in August) water at 7.30am, watching a fisherman bait his crab net and enjoying the tranquil peace and quiet that the early morning brings........ Enjoy it you wont regret a holiday in Majesty Tuana...the only problem is -how do we beat that next year!

After checking the reviews on Trip Adviser, I thought we had picked the ideal holiday. We have stayed at various resorts in Turkey and Europe for countless summer holidays, so my review is based on a good selection of different hotels, this being the most expensive due to the class rating and being all inclusive.(I booked the flights with Thomas Cook, the transfers with Hotels4you, and the Hotel with Travel republic; this saved us £500 off the same holiday quoted by Thomson.) Shame it didn’t even come up to the standards of the 3* we were in last year - let me explain.
Anyway on to the Majestic Tuana.
First impressions were very good, helpful at reception, grounds really kept well and room was spacious.
Bad points. We were in Park 2 which is about 1000 metres from the main pool, entertainment and restaurant. Park 2 had its own pool which was ok but could get quite busy, with everyone reserving sunbeds at the crack of dawn, the hotel did nothing to discourage this, and nether were there any signs. The hotel was very busy for the middle of June, this made meals times a bit of a “cattle market”, because of the main restaurant layout everyone was cris crossing the room and this made tempers a little frayed due to plates getting dropped etc. Food was varied and good quality once you could find what you were after, e.g. butter being other side of the room to the bread. Don’t expect an English breakfast as this wasn’t catered for, but lunch and dinner time had enough selection to keep most people happy.
Entertainment was a joke, kids songs were played at about 9.15 which consisted of the usual Superman songs etc, then the main entertainment started but first had to be translated into 4 or 5 different languages which made it funny at first but boring as the week went on, they tried hard but just wasn’t very professional.
Daytime activities included darts, water aerobics, football etc, but any water sports were charged extra.
One really good thing is that fridges were dotted around that had beer and water in that you could simple help yourself to which I thought was a good idea. Service at the main pool bar, well if you want ice you needed to ask, even then they would question why you wanted it! The cocktail bar had a selection of only two different cocktails. Spirits were non named brand, but they had plenty of Efes and Fosters. Service at the bar in Park 2 was good but this was purely down to the young lady working there who always tried to be helpful but after working a 12 hour day every day looked completely drained by the time we left.
The last day we were there a cleaning lady let herself into our room just after eight in the morning, on seeing myself and my son and daughter she said sorry and disappeared, this we found very suspicious.
The complaint we were trying to make was the fact that she shouldn’t have be letting herself in unannounced, she should have a least knocked first.
All our valuables were left in the safety deposit box, which I recommend people use.
In conclusion, this is a hotel trying to be a 5 star but only managing 2 star in our opinion. I did chat to some couples that had booked through Thomson, and their views were similar to ours. The one woman couldn’t wait to leave, her final comment was “I’ve just had enough”.
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.

We have just returned from a week at the Majesty Tuana and would have no hesitation in giving this hotel our highest recommendation. It was our first trip to Turkey and we did not know quite what to expect. We received the warmest welcome from Serkan at reception who was ever helpful, cheerful and attentive throughout our stay. Our first impression was excellent and from there onwards the hotel did not disappoint in any way.
We found all the staff from the maids, to the bar and restaurant staff, the animation team and the hotel Manager to be extremely friendly, professional and attentive. They made every effort to ensure that we enjoyed our holiday. When the weather turned quite chilly in the evening the animation team provided gas heaters for our comfort and adjusted their entertainment programme accordingly. There is no doubt that the staff have been well selected and well trained; the fact that they return year on year is evidence of the quality and continuity of care that you may expect.
Our rooms were spotlessly clean on arrival and this standard was maintained throughout our stay. One room, allocated to our teenage daughters was a double and slightly smaller than the others, however the girls were offered the opportunity to change at any time - we found the staff to be friendly and accommodating in every way.
The food was exactly what you would expect in an all-inclusive hotel. The variety was terrific - something to please all tastes. We consider ourselves to be discerning travellers and we were delighted with the quality; service was always with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Even though the restaurants are self-service the waiters regularly served our drinks. It was possible to eat 'a la carte' during 3 nights of the holiday - again food and service was first class. Food and drink was plentiful at any time of the day and staff always keen to please.
The entire complex is immaculate. Gardens, pool area, beach and all the public toilets were kept beautifully clean. Health and good hygiene is clearly a priority. There was never a problem in finding a sun bed whether on the private beach or by the pool. The views over the sea are terrific and sports facilities all good and mostly free of charge.
In all we had a most relaxing holiday which was made all the more enjoyable by a hospitable and friendly team. I cannot understand how anyone could find fault with this hotel. We would definitely return and be pleased to recommend it highly to others.

Just returned from a week at the majesty tuana, had an excellent relaxing break and would thoroughly recommend this resort as great value for money.
The animation team work hard to keep everyone entertained day and night but not everyones cup of tea especially as hotel has 40% english and the rest Russian, German and Turkish so they have to cater for a lot of languages. Great grounds, beautiful gardens and sea front sunbathing location if you want it.
Room was fair size and very modern and food was fairly good pretty standard for AI.
Weather amazing and would recommend the speed boat taxi into Fethiye through the watersports guys.
Pretty remote so nowhere to walk so have to get bus or speed boat to Fethiye which is 17K away.
Book this hotel you won't regret it!

My husband and I stayed at the Majesty Club Tuana for one week and would have liked to have stayed longer. The rooms were a good size with nice bathrooms, the food was fantastic, mainly Turkish and fresh and the staff were great, friendly and helpful.
Other comments mention that the hotel is a bit removed but it's all inclusive, most of them are to stop people that aren't guest getting in.
During October it was still hot, nearly 30 degrees and the air conditioning was switched off when you left the room, but for the sake of not wasting energy I could live with this.
The entertainment isn't as bad as some other comments state, people just need to remove their heads from their backsides, it was a lot of fun, I had a great time.
Also there are a lot of facilities that I purely couldn't be bothered to use so I didn't get a full experience, just a fantastic one - well recommended.

Brilliant hotel. Excellent choice of food and no shortage. Plenty of onsite entertainment. Only disadvantage is the hotel is somewhat isolated and the beach is shingle. Sun worshippers will have no problem. Those who like to explore will either need to fork out on excursions or hire a car. Not the sort of hotel where you can just wander down the street into town.

we booked this holiday as a second honeymoon with close friends of ours, and what a holiday we had!!! the hotel complex was absolutely fantastic from the moment we stepped of the bus, staff were freindly, helpful, pleasant and couldnt do enough for us, the room was lovely, not the greatest of views but who needs a view when there so much to do!!!! reading reviews of small rooms, we must of got lucky as our room was a good size with a king size bed and a pull out double, and a bathroom to die for. the complex itsself was great, the pool huge, waterslides which we cooled down on several times a day!!! there were other pools in the park sides of the complex but we didnt venture that far, but heard they were just as nice. they had a great pier type jetty which you could dive off and several steps to walk down to enter the sea which was lovely and sunbeds on there too. sunbeds were plentyful, by the way, although a couple of mornings we did cheat to get prime spot as it had given a scorcher. on to the food, well, what can i say we never had a bad meal, the variety was very good all tastes catered for, the soup especially was beautiful, fresh bread with every meal, bottles of wine chilled and ready to be drunk. all in all we are definately going back next year with our children but for two weeks as there is so much to do and see.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing week at this hotel. 20 mins transfer. Reception very helpful. Bell boy service to room. Room clean, maybe a little small (spent little time in there), bed comfortable, air con, mini bar etc. Linen and towells changed daily. Pool massive and clean, seperate pool for kids. Kids club available. Sun loungers galore, lovely view of islands from beach. Animation team fun but not intrusive, entertainment ok. All sorts of inclusive activities, wind surf, tennis etc. Restaurant big, clean, food lovely, enough variation for week. Staff very friendly and approachable including ground staff. At least basic english spoken by all. Fethiye 20 mins away, hotel provides daily bus service to and from. Hotel a bit out of the way from civilisation but happily self sufficient. All in all this hotel was spot on for a relaxing week in the sun.

My family and I have just returned today from an 11 night stay at the Majesty Club Tuana and Park. We all had a fantastic time. We stayed in a club room which was spacious and well decorated. The complex was immaculate and cleaned on a regular basis, Our room was cleaned every day with fresh bedding and towels. The food was good and there was always a lot to choose from. The staff were very polite and the Animation team were Fantastic, they were very friendly and great with the kids. The kids loved the mini disco and the shows by the Animation team were very good, they all put a lot of hard work into them. All in all we had an amazing holiday and will definetley be going back again next year. We would recommend this hotel to anyone !! Thankyou to everyone at the Majesty Tuana for a fantastic holiday. xxx
