Stayed here for Two weeks in August 2009 and loved every minute of it. Staff were fantastic and very helpful the apartments are really clean and serviced almost everyday.I would recommend these apartments to anybody..the pool is great and really quiet during the day as most people go to the beach.No rush for sunbeds here there are plenty. If i were to have a complaint is that there is no Aircon but you can hire a fan we took two and it was 24 euro for two weeks which is fine. Hawaii bar in puertorico about a 20 minute walk along the cliffs is great for a relaxing drink before and after dinner.there are three fantastic resteraunts around it also my advise stay here and don't go up to the centre of puerto rico it is really tacky and the touts would drive you nuts..as i said though terraza amadores is a good place for a holiday and i highly recommend it. Oh and i am going back next year have it booked already .cant wait...

i went there last year, and stayed there for two weeks. the accommodation was just perfect. the pool area was large and spacious, same with the rooms.
the spar was literally a thirty second walk away, and it was easily accessible.
the beach was five minutes away, and you could see the beautiful blue sea from your terrace. the only downer with the beach was that you had to pay for the toilets. there is a great range of resturants along the beach, and i reccommend you to eat at The Monaco! very friendly and great food!
the only things that kept us awake at night for a bit was the noise from the Gran Amadores apartments, and the heat, seeing as there was no air conditioning.
would definately go back there again, it truely is worth a visit!

Excellent location, only 5 mins from Amadore beach and a 15 min walk to the lively Puerto Rico, 3 Euro's by taxi. Loads to do there whether drinking, eating out or day trips.
Apartment was clean, towels changed every other day, maid service 5 days. Reception opened day times only. Pool bar the same.
Had most kitchen equipment, plates, saucepans, glasses etc.
You have to pay extra for Fans,18 Euro's, but sleeping with doors open at night was enough, for me.
There are about 50 apartments and only 10 or so used. Locals seem to own some and were there at weekend.
One large pool and a child's pool, loads of sun beds there for everyone.
Pool bar had a limit food menu, however a Spa shop is built under half of the site, and a good choice of food to buy and cook.
A very quiet location, no night entertainment, so you can chill out evenings, however with doors open you may hear local hotels until midnight.
Being a small hotel, there were about 6 members of staff that I actually saw through the week, but all were friendly and very helpful.
By pool side you also had Garden toys for toddlers, pool table and football table for the older ones. Ideal Hotel for all the family.
The photo's on internet were just like your apartment, clean, basic but still whether staying there.
The location of Amadores is great for young families and couples wanting a relaxing holiday. Great clean and safe beach, with restaurants all around. A very clean place. I would highly recommend.

Myself and my husband have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the apartments, the apartments are in a excellent potition, with views of the sea. They are all well equiped and cleaned on a daily basis other than sundays. We went to the BBQ which was good fun and worth the money we paid. Staff are helpful and friendly, the reception could be do with being open a little longer as anyone arriving later in the evening may have problems. The restaurants on the beach at amadores are excellent, but a bar or two there would make a change from walking to puerto rico which is about 15 mins away. Some days we had the pool to ourselves as the beachis so close, but I think as it becomes busier you may struggle round the pool to get shade, as the parasols were in short supply.All in all and excellent holiday and would definately go back.

Returned last week from here june 22nd 09 the appartments are kept spotless and are all new
the staff are all very helpful and can't do enough for you to make your stay go really easy, the towels are changed every other day and bedding once a week maid service every day except thursday and sunday.The two pools are kept clean and are often empty as the beach is only 5 min walk away.The beach is lovely and the sea is warm and clear very calm for swimming and for the little ones to go in [use a good sun cream ]as it is very hot at this time of year,the spa shop is up and runing and is very well equiped with every thing that you will need.purto rico is just a 15 - 20 min walk around the cliff or a short taxi ride which costs 3 euro with everything here for you to do. there is dolphin trips and a ferry to purto morgan which is 10 euro per adult and kids free well worth going on.there is also the big shopping center here aswell just watch out for the touts [they dont seem to be about on saturday and sunday] we are booking again for this hotel as you have all you need in the laid back resort of amadores or the more lively resort of purto rico 15 min away you can book with confidence here. Would advise you hire a fan which is 6 euro per week thats all you will need as the apartments come with fridge microwave kettle toaster tv and hob with two rings all we can say is enjoy yourselfs as we did.
