Orfeus park hotel was a nice hotel, the rooms where fresh and clean and the pool area was smart. There where a few downsides to our holiday, in that the food was of good quality (at times) however the variation was poor. My fiancée and I where one of two English couples at the hotel due to getting a late deal on teletext holidays. The majority of people where German. The hotel staff spoke very little English and it became a struggle to communicate the smallest of things. The entertainment was in 100% German, so we didn’t watch it. The Centre of Side is about 15 mins away by bus and is very cheap (Don’t get a taxi). I would recommend this holiday for a cheap one week get away, as it is classed as 5 star but would be 3.5 in my opinion

The Orfeus Park is a beautiful hotel. The swimming pool area is fairly large and clean. Food was varied and there was always plenty of choice.
There is also an outside barbecue area which grilled fish or chicken to add to the choices.
Rooms were on the small side but very clean and perfectly comfortable. Staff were very helpful. However, hotel guests were mainly German or Turkish. In the entire week we spent there, we didn't speak to anyone else who was British.
Most staff spoke English (although to varying degrees) but we found we had more success communicating with them in German. Also, in the week we spent there, only one morning did we manage to get a sunbed beside the pool (and we were up by 9 am each morning).
There was always a lot of entertainment on but again it was in Turkish or German, although staff did attempt to translate what they could into English.
The area the hotel was in was also very quiet. The Turkish bath trip is a must do! It was a lovely hotel, with helpful staff and we enjoyed a quiet, relaxing time, but if you are looking for company and entertainment, this is not the place for you.

We have just returned from what has to be one of the best holidays yet. The orfeus park hotel was superb, extremely clean and well maintained. The food was excellent with plenty of choice, and with an open bar where you served yourself. The beach bar and restaurant was as good as the hotel's. We were in a party of six adults, there was a few more english couples but mainly German's. The holiday and weather and hotel leaves us thinking are we going back again and the answer is definately. Would recomend this holiday hotel to all. Well done orfeus for a lovely , relaxing and wonderful holiday.
