Coppe Hotel

We needed a holiday to de-stress and this holiday hit the spot. There is not much to do in Lido di Jesolo so you can feel a bit trapped if you don't like laying on the beach all day or walking along the endless prom. There are loads of tacky gift shops to look in if that is the sort of thing you like. There are a nice range of restaurants and cafes to sit and have some really nice coffee. We stayed in the Hotel Coppe and it was wonderful. It is spotlessly clean with modern ensuite rooms that have large comfy beds. The food was tasty, plentiful and always served with a smile. The Coppe family work very hard to make their guests feel welcome and looked after. We would recommend this hotel to any one. The highlight of our holiday was a trip to Venice which is too wonderful to sum up in words. Do not book a tour there with a holiday firm as it is much cheaper and more fun to do it independantly. An all inclusive ticket can be purchased which covers all buses and the boats in Venice,including the ones to the various islands. On the down side, check the price of coffees in Venice before you sit down and on the island of Burano do not buy lace from little old ladies sitting in their doorways sewing as they will rip you off. Stick to buying from the shops. All in all a great holiday. We would go again.
