Kos Aktis Apartments

We stayed here Sept 07 for 5 nights and absolutely loved the Kos Aktis Art hotel. Rolling up the blind to allow the glorious sunlight to stream in through the floor to ceiling glass windows on a sunny morning is as close to heaven as I've been for a while. You feel like you are on the water as you look out over the ocean. Contemporary decor, absolutely spotless, great service (I am a real stickler for that), lovely breakfast. I spent one night at the Kos Art Hotel while on business at the island. The Hotel is recenty renovated, and I was surprised, pleasantly, by the results. The room was large and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. The view was astonishing, as the Hotel is practically built ON the beach! The decor is modern, minimal, and very pleasing to the eye. Excellent hotel, very nice, on the beach, good breakfast, super friendly staff, beautiful view, very good A/C, close and far enough from town so that it is not too noisy, yet convenient for tours, dining, and nightlife.

While traveling the Greek islands we stopped at Kos without reservations for a hotel. I went to the information building in Kos Town, asking about a nice place for the evening. They suggested a new hotel a 1 minute walk down the street. The Aktis Art Hotel is one of the best small hotels we have stayed at in our travels. It is ultra modern, on the water, and offers it's guests the best in every catagory. The rooms are large. The bathroom surpasses your dream of the perfect pampering place.
