Country Inn Hotel

It was very nice, very modern, staff were nice, bar staff were very nice, cleaners were excellent, nice views over the pool, over looking the sea, thomson rep was very helpful, nice walk to the beach from the hotel, but is not recommended for elderly, disabled and small children. Weekly barbeques are really brilliant value for money.

We have travelled to Greece on other occasions but have not stayed anywhere better than the Country Inn. George (the owner), Nokos (the best bar man in Greece), Eifi (day bar), Helen and Stelios (the cooks), and the cleaners could not have been more hospitable and friendly. Food is good, hotel is very clean, grounds are well maintained. The atmosphere is relaxing with a good level of socialising among the guests. This was our first visit to Greece and we had the best time ever.The Country Inn is exactly as described in the brochure,it is small(just 16 rooms) and friendly (the owner George treats you like one of the family).The rooms are bright and modern and are kept spotlessly clean.Breakfast is served buffet style ,between 8 and 10,so plenty of time for a lie in.As we went early season,Kalithea still very quiet,so we spent a lot of time in our hotel,as it had everything we needed.The pool area was beautiful,plenty of sunbeds,and the bar served... more

My husband and I stayed at the Country Inn for one week in mid May 2008 and had a lovely relaxing break. It's a lovely peaceful hotel - well located a short walk from the town of Kalithea and near to another more traditional town - Afitos. The hotel is small and has a great atmosphere, the rooms are well equipped, well maintained, nicely decorated and kept really clean by the staff. Just sat here booking this years holiday (Sat night) with bear in hand. Felt it about time that I put pen to paper. I just wish my penmanship was better. Really relaxing environment, not overun with children, friendly staff & tastefully equiped rooms. Well maintained, family run, would recomend.

stayed here with my family in august and it was the best hotel ive stayed in. it was so clean and had the most beautiful views of the sea. the staff are fantastic , especially george the owner who was so nice and nick who works in the bar was fab, we will definitly return to this hotel as i cant say a bad word about it. . thanks for a brill holiday x

We have just returned from our very enjoyable, very relaxing holiday. The hotel is really lovely and the staff are fab. George the owner is so lovely and kind. My nephew had an ear infection whilst on holiday and George went out of his way to go to pharmacy and get medication for him. Nic the barman is so friendly and makes a lovely cocktail (or 2 or 3 as in our case). The rooms were lovely with air con and beautiful views of the sea or pool. me and my family stayed here in august and we had a fantastic time, allof the staff at the hotel staff were brilliant we were made to feel so welcome. george the owner of the hotel is so pleasant and really goes out of his way to do things for you , nick is a gem he runs the bar from tea time til midnight (or whenever you want to go to bed) he is a fantastic guy. the hotel itself so clean and has the most beautiful views of the sea, the hotel is just a nice size so it doesnt get over crowded its just right . this hotel really does deserve... more

Darren and I have just returned from a wonderful Holiday. The Hotel is amazing and so relaxing; the staff are lovely and are always there to help. We stayed in a room overlooking the sea, this was perfect for a romantic setting. The rooms are comfortable with everything you need, ie A/C, fridge, comfortable bed and lovely big balcony. Arrival on the evening of the 9th July 2007, The coach driver lazily dropped us at the end of the long drive leaving George (The Hotel owner) running down the path to greet us with apologies about the driver and Welcoming us by carrying our cases. This was a very nice gesture and was much appreciated as Colette and myself were both pretty dehydrated after the long coach journey (One hour and a half) to the hotel.
