Our stay at the concorde hotel was fantastic - food, rooms, staff all good, peter & aileen who own and run this hotel are lovely. They are in the proccess of modernising this hotel and the rooms they have done are excellent. We will certainly be going back.

We stayed at the Concorde hotel in Torquay from 27th December until the 30th December.
Overall it was a good value for money holiday. There were a few teething problems but the owners had only been there themselves for six weeks.
The staff were very friendly and helpful even down to Julie the barmaid who filled your glass up for you as soon as it was empty (we were on an all inclusive ).
Our coach driver David o.k... Elvis the 2nd! Was very entertaining on the karaoke night it was a really good night all the coach party were joining in with the singing.
On a down side the rooms could have been cleaner but like I said early days for new owners, the beds were very comfy and clean.
It`s a value for money holiday and I’m sure it will improve more as the new owners find their feet more.
We would go there again but maybe in summer when its warmer.

Have just spent the new-year at this hotel. Food good and a free glass of wine with evening meal, entertainment good.
New owners had only been there a few weeks but are refurbishing, may take a while. Very friendly. Could be nice in the summer as has a swimming pool outside.

First time in Torquay and first time at the Concorde Hotel and I will definitely go back again! The Concorde Hotel is under new ownership and it is obvious from the quality of the refurbishments that the owners have already started putting their personal stamp on the hotel. It's a really friendly, family-run hotel and what I particularly liked was the fact the family take all their meals in the main dining room - what better endorsement do you need, not only of the quality of food, but also of their hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable and excellent value. I look forward to going back in the summer when the hotel pool is open and a trip on the handy Torquay land train won't chill you to the bone, even the beautiful February sunshine couldn't keep that out!
