I thought the hotel was very nice, was clean and friendly staff, especially the lady behind the bar.

There was a different menu everyday at dinner times. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and have three beds and spacious wardrobes. The pool was very nice just a little cold.

The hotel is very close to the local night life and right on the beach. The beach is not very exciting but a nicer beach and harbour is a 10minute walk and Nissi Beach is a 5 minute taxi away.

I definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying in it again next year.

This hotel is ideally situated, close to the nightlife, restaurants and shops and on the doorstep to a fun fair if that’s what you like. It’s also next to a small beach that’s quiet, yet a bit rocky. Walking further along another ten minutes or so, there is the harbour and a large sandy beach for everyone to enjoy.

The hotel staff were pleasant and spoke enough English to have a chat with. The food was of basic standard with enough variety for everyone. You could have sausage, bacon, eggs, toast and cereal. The evening meal was different every day however if nothing took your fancy, you could always eat out at the local restaurants.

The room was situated in one of the annexes facing the sea, beautiful to look out on the balcony; sometimes the neighbours could be heard but that’s not the fault of the hotel. It was big enough for a double bed, two bedside cabinets and wardrobes, a separate bathroom which was clean. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels laid on the beds and bins emptied. There were a few ants in the room but they weren't out of control and could be kept away with a mosquito plug.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel before reading any reviews. After reading the reviews on this website I was very apprehensive about going and even considered cancelling.

Luckily my boyfriend convinced me to give it a chance and not listen to any reviews, and I am really glad I listened to him because the Pierre Anne turned out to be perfect! The hotel was perfectly situated.

It was a stones-throw from a small beach, near the sea the beach got a bit rocky but on the whole the sand was white and clean and although it wasn't a private beach just for the hotel, it was practically deserted and easily accessed down a small path from the hotel.

During our stay, their was a small fun fair situated a few metres from the front of the hotel, although we weren't interested in going on any rides it was a nice little feature to walk through and even though it was only a short distance away, you couldn't hear any noise from the hotel.

The fun fair closed around midnight which further minimised any possible noise pollution. The hotel was set-back down a long driveway from the centre of the town, which meant it was nice and quiet, yet only a 5 minute (if that) walk from the town.

We stayed for a week on a half-board basis which meant we had breakfast and dinner included. Breakfast was basic, sausage, beans, egg etc. and also a variety of meats. It wasn't piping-hot, but defiantly not cold, and served buffet style.

Lunch was available through bar meals but we never actually ate lunch at the hotel as with lots of bars and restaurants around we explored instead. Dinner was rotated every night, with main meals such as carbonara, lasagne, chicken and BBQ and dessert was always ice-cream, jelly or cakes.

The pool was huge and shallow enough for children; we also saw it getting cleaned every morning we were there.

When lying in the pool you have a beautiful view of the sea and it was never over-crowded.

The hotel also had an indoor pool and gym equipment but we never used them as the weather was never bad.

We stayed in a double room which handily had a third bed which we used to keep our suitcases on. The room was a good sized and included the basics, bedside tables, main table with TV on and 2 wardrobes.

Our bathroom had a bath with an over-head shower in and was always kept clean. We were also lucky enough that our balcony was sea-view and big enough to sit out on.

Our room was remade daily and by the end of the week we must have ended up with around 12 bath towels. We would recommend the Pierre-Anne hotel to anyone of any age as the staff were friendly, it was perfectly situated near a lovely variety of restaurants/shops and everything was kept clean. It was more than we expected from a 3* hotel.

The hotel has the best location in Ayia Napa, the pool is lovely and very helpful staff, all of them speaking so good English. I could say that you get much more than pay for.

House keeping is excellent, every day fresh and clean towels (even the cleaners speak English).I’ve got the chance to meet the owner of the hotel - so nice person, so friendly.

The food is quiet good, breakfast excellent. I really do not understand people who don’t like the hotel; I plan to come back and next year as well.

Pierre Anne staff thank you that you make our holiday so nice and pleasant.

Me and my 5 mates came here and thought that this hotel is perfectly situated as it is around a 10 minute walk to the bars, a 30 second walk to the sea one way and to a fairground the other way.

The staff were helpful, friendly, and chatty, (even when I ended up asleep in the hotel bar after a heavy night in town, they still were nice), the pool is huge, and there’s a lot of sunbeds and space around it.

The gym is falling apart a bit but, be honest who comes on holiday to work out hey. There’s a nice indoor pool too. Hotel has good internet facilities.

The only downer of this hotel is tea time food and breakfast, I had breakfast once in two weeks as it seemed rather bland, the tea was very plain and repetitive, but as we paid £350 half board for two weeks, you get what you pay for, lunch time meals were nice, and your only a 5 min walk from McDonalds and some other restaurants.

Ayia Napa its self is amazing, I would come to this hotel again.

This hotel was a state compared to many other hotels I have been.

The walls were so thin I could hear the people next door. The food was cold, for the first couple of nights I had no water to get a wash or a shower.

I was amazed because a friend of mine who went the year before had said that the hotel was a good standard and fun. I didn’t find any of the staff there helpful or could not even speak full English.

Never going to think about visiting here again.

We had already visited this hotel about 3 years before as a friend was staying and we were 5 mins up the beach in Panas Village. I knew it was only a 3 star when we booked and had been advised by my friend that the hotel was clean and the staff were great and it's also in good walking distance to the square.

We arrived at 6.30am and was greeted by a nice gent on reception that checked us in and insisted we went for breakfast. We stashed our belongings in the room and headed for food.

Bacon, eggs tomatoes, strange sausage, toast jam and cereals greeted us. It was basic but nice. The rooms were basic and clean and the TV even worked. Air conditioning worked fine and our room was on the ground floor, we walked out of the patio doors and were right at the side of the pool.

Our room was cleaned daily and the sheets and towels were changed at the same time, as well as the bin.

The evening meals were ok but every couple of days would see the same dishes from 2 days earlier, all in all the food was good. Food ordered at the bar at lunch was great; I would recommend the cheese burger and home made chips.

Every member of staff I encountered were polite and helpful. I would go back to this hotel as I never encountered any problems what so ever.

This is the worst hotel ever.

The food is disgusting and cold and the desserts had ants crawling around on them, which didn't seem to bother the staff. The staff are rude, moody, unhelpful and haven't got a clue what they are doing.

It's run on minimum staff who don't speak very good English, in fact when I complained about the ants, they thought I was asking what kind of cake it was!

The rooms are dirty and the beds are held together with blocks of wood, our 5 year olds was broken and someone came to fix it with another piece of wood to add to it.

The cleaners didn't empty the bins daily and when we complained we were told we were getting extra attention because of all the complaints.

The rep refused to eat there at our request as she already knew it was so poor. The gym equipment was broken and the inside pool is dirty and set in a dark unlit basement next to smelly, unclean toilets.

The pool was never cleaned and dirty plates, glasses and rubbish accumulated daily and was still there when we left 2 weeks later.

The finale of our holiday from hell, was when a Hungarian group turned up to film a video in and around the pool for three days. In the end the guests took matters into their own hands and got the them to stop filming, as it was clearly an unsuitable film to be making.

We all couldn't wait to leave this hell hole.

First visit to this hotel, and last. Worst hotel ever. Its in a lovely position overlooking the sea, and close to local amenities, no noise from funpark.

From the outside hotel looks good but, inside in desperate need of upgrading. Rooms are standard and basic. Furniture old and looks second hand. The beds were not even the same size and were held together with bits of wood wth nails sticking out. Housekeeping was very poor, sheets changed only once a week, towels only when we made a fuss and even worse toilet bins not emptied daily. Yuck! We had to complain about the overall standards of cleanliness and maintanance of this hotel.

Food, well forget it, cold, bland and dreary, plan to eat out. Pool - lovely location and plenty room but again not cleaned daily, bottom of pool gritty and dirty, and two buckets of chlorine powder emptied directly into pool maybe once a week if your lucky.

Presently challenging tour operator for ruined holiday.

The hotel was atrocious, outdated, dirty, in need of complete modernisation and the food was equally dreadful.

The reception staff in particular were very unhelpful when I had had my mobile phone stolen from my side at the pool bar. The morale of the staff was low and one of the waiters sported a black eye.

I would advise anyone booking with his hotel to cancel. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!

I went with an open mind knowing that I found it impossible to find reviews on this hotel.

We requested a quiet room and was delighted to be given a room on an annex with a full sea view !! The pool area is really nice with plenty of sun loungers and drinks are not expensive.

The location is right behind the Luna Park so I expected noise (hence the requirement for a quiet room) however I was pleased that we never heard any noise what so ever.

The rooms are big enough for 3 people complete with air-con which is centrally controlled, it does not work as well as it should and would imagine in high temperatures it may make it a bit unbearable but did find it a problem for ourselves.

The Food is really really bad very little variety and was luke warm at the best of times!! However it was still cheaper for us to stay here than self catering so you get what you pay for.

Overall I would stay at this hotel again it is a good location, right on the sea front 10 minutes walk from the square, however plan to eat out.
