Stamatia Hotel

We were moved by Olympic holidays because they said that the hotel we had booked was not up to their standard. What a laugh!!! This hotel was very basic (not a major problem), the staff were lovely and in the main very friendly and helpful, but the food was truly awful. No choices, no labels (apart from pork, lamb or chicken-think that was because sometimes it was hard to tell). If you or your family were allergic to anything, you just didnt attempt the food at all. Just got back from Ayia Napa the Hotel is in a great position for the Beach, Shops and nightlife!!!!!!! The Hotel though is very basic and in desparate need of some modernising, it looks like something from the 70's with the flowery curtains and grey bath rooms. After reading other reviews about the Hotel people seem to describe the food as basic, I'll have to go one further and say it was poor every night (with exception of Saturday and Sunday), it was just mush with 3 bowls of Salad, the chef needs to pay a visit to the Napa... more

Had a great time and the Hotel was very clean, meals very basic so dont expect to much! reused the left overs from the night before in some strange meals??but you only get what you pay for it was a cheapish holiday and the food was alright,Top location 10mins from the night life and 2mins from the Harbour funny to watch the young clubbers going out to sea on the party boats lots of places to grab a beer and food if you wanted a special night out,We went in May and it was HOT!!! god knows how hot it would be in July-Aug you'd be half... more

Myself & ten of my family as just came back from this hotel this week as we were out in Cyprus for a family wedding. We found the location was close to the beach. Hotel staff was really friendly. Close to the harbour which was very quiet but if you require the night clubs it's all within walking distance. we took a child of nine with us & the hotel was very child friendly. lovely pool, clean rooms. I'd recomend the boat trips down @ the harbour.

Went to Ayia Napa for a lads holiday this summer. Did a thorough search on lots of different hotels and eventually decided to go with the Stamatia. We were the only Group of lads there and it was nice to have a quieter to relax after a big night out, usually got back just in time for a decent (included in the price) breakfast! Air conditioning in every room was very useful. Most members of staff spoke very good english so communication wasn't a problem and found them all to be very friendly. The Stamatia hotel was in a very good position close to the beach and within easy walking distance of ayia napas main square. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. On the whole the hotel was of a good standard however the meals were not as good as we expected as there wasnt much choice or thought put into them. Also the pool area could have been a lot cleaner. On the whole it was a pleasent stay and good points outway the bad.

I have recently come back from Cyprus after my stay at the Stamatia Hotel in Cyprus. I cannot fault the hotel or the service of the bar and reception staff and it was very clean throughout the rooms and pool area. We stayed half board but the breakfast was ok but we were not too impressed with the evening buffett some of it was ok but I would go on a bed and breakfast basis.
