" Really Lovely "
Submitted By: laura burkeThe rooms are a little small but fine really really clean the maids came in everyday. The pool is fantastic and surrounded by the mountains. Breakfast was fine but did get a bit boring. My only bad thing to say about the hotel is that the staff on reception could of been more helpfull which im sad to say is the only bad memory I have of an otherwise perfect holiday
Advice: really lovely. people really friendly. beauitful food. lots to do
Activities: billys beach (sugar beach). boat trip. lagoon.

" Fantastic! "
Submitted By: hr-holidayThere was a mini fridge and plenty of storage space for my friend and myself- two girls with a LOT of clothes!
The beds were freshly made up every couple of days with lovely swan and heart shapes and roses left on the sheets- a memorable touch.
The hotel itself was immaculately kept and clean and we never saw a fly. Ever. The breakfasts were average but fresh so you can't ask for more than that.
The pool was always clean and reasonably big with games being played there regularly.
The staff were incredibly friendly but if you are a woman they may be overly friendly- this is the same for the entire area though. The bar staff in particular were lovely to talk to and made sure we were welcome.
Didn't personally attend any of the entertainment nights because so much else was going on elsewhere but from what I heard they always go down well with customers.
The location of Asena Beach is perfect; a five minute walk from the gorgeous beaches (make sure you wear the proper rubber shoes, or shoes at least. I avoided wearing mine but at a painful cost.) On the walk down to the beach you will be hounded by every single shopkeeper/member of staff but they aren't really a problem- they add to the holiday experience and they are all lovely to talk to! If this bothers you there are different roads to walk down where you wont find as many shops.
There are regular bus routes to Fethiye and Hisaronu which are both great to visit! Hisaronu is good for people looking for a good night out but this isn't to say Olu Deniz didn't cater for our dancing needs. Fethiye is a good visit but beware- it is extremely hot! The market is great if you are good at bartering- otherwise they might try and charge you too much.
There are also lots of boat trips running from the beach- this was personally the highlight of my holiday. You will get to visit various bays and swim in the warm and beautifully blue Mediteranean sea.
The restaurants cater for all tastes and we never had a problem with any food, even if it was cheap.
Definately one of the best weeks of my life. The only faults are over- friendly people and slightly painful beaches (my fault for not wearing shoes..)
Advice: Boat trips, Fethiye market
Activities: The Fez, Cherry Chow

" Be very aware about this Hotel! "
Submitted By: juliepopsMy daughter ending up having to eat chicken & chips every night because there was nothing else on the menu she liked.
While at this Hotel we met three other couples who had also booked into the Asena Beach Hotel and they were also told that there was no room for them. Very strange!
One couple were told that could stay one night but had to move the next day. They said the breakfast at the Asena was fantastic, this made us feel worse because ours was very basic. I would love to know how many people the Asena are booking in and then sending away, there must be some sort of back hand scam going on here.
So anyone booking the Asena Beach please be aware that you may not actually stop there and you could be moved to another Hotel.
" asena beach has to be the best hotel... "

Submitted By: Mrs C ThornWe booked a room with a garden view and were given a room overlooking the main noisy pedestrian route through the resort where all the shops and bars were. (Block 0) Requested a room change and given a room (124) which was apparently sometimes used by the reception staff. The room was shabby to say the least but at least it was quieter. Breakfasts were poor with limited choice. Tea from the tea urn was disgusting. Found out later that teabags were kept under the counter. Hard sell at breakfast for the various activites going on at the hotel eg BBQ and the restaurant which was overpriced.
Don't bother with the Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel - poor food and value. Insufficient sunbeds for the mnumber of people staying at the hotel, so by 10am no beds available. Had a skirt stolen from suitcase - could only have been a member of hotel staff. Emailed the hotel but they didn't comment. Ripped off several times in the resort. Won't be going back

" This was my family's sixth visit to... "
Submitted By: Mrs S ClarkThe staff are always helpful, friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
Whilst the rooms are basic, and could do with a bit of udating, they are always kept clean by the lovely cleaning staff, and the gardens and pool are wonderful.
My one criticism would be, that whilst the food is very good, this year they kept it outdoors in the lovely rooftop restaurant and the food got cold too quickly.
We have seen the resort of Olu Deniz get busier each year we go, but the staff of the bars and restaurants make each visit a pleasure. Especially the Tequilla Bar!!
We will be back.
" We have just returned from a two week... "
Submitted By: Mrs AkesterIf you are going for two weeks it is recommended that you buy vouchers at the hotel for the half board option as it works out cheaper than eating out. The food is good and lots of variety. We did half eating in the hotel and half eating out
My son was ill on holiday and the chemist and doctor is a two minute walk away, as are all the shops and bars. A good local supermarket which sells cheap wine to take back to your hotel room. Fridge is in room.
I would recommend this resort, it is quite quiet, apart from the odd nite of Karaoke which can go on until 02.30 am.
Turkey is not as cheap as it used to be and you can get hounded by the shop-keepers.
We really enjoyed our holiday, very chilled, one of the best we have had!!
" My family and I have just come back... "
Submitted By: Mrs G LeachWhat a fabulous time we all had – We arrive at 6 in the morning after nearly 12 hours travelling, fit to drop. The welcome at reception was warm, fast and efficient and a young man carried our cases to the room.
The room was a bit small for 2 adults and a 14 year old, but it was only used for sleeping and was kept immaculately clean by our friendly, helpful cleaner. Towels changed, beds made and floor washed every day. Bedding changed twice a week.
Food was very well presented and extremely tasty, not one bad meal in 2 weeks. I have a fussy 14 year old and she managed to find and try new things to eat.
All the staff in this hotel have a common goal and that is to make your stay the best ever. Everyone is approachable and nothing is too much trouble for them. Even the Manager gets his hand dirty clearing away plates. He also joined in the fun and games during the entertainment events..
I would like to say a special thank you to the boys at the pool bar, They worked so hard always making sure you had all you needed. We ALL had a great time and hope to come back next year. My daughter has said if she can’t go there then she’s not bothered.
" absolutely FANTASTIC did not want to... "
Submitted By: Miss C KingMy best holiday yet evening entertainment and pool party on sunday especially fun.
Thomas Cook rep was really friendly. The rooms were on the small size but lovely.
Only problem is you have top put your key into something to get the air con to work...this is a problem as you need your key to get yourself in the room...so the room is BOILING when you get in.
Not a problem just go to reception and ask for a new key.
will be back next year!!
