fantastic, clean, convenient, great atmosphere, 2 adults 2 teenagers aged 14 & 16, helpful staff, stayed in 2 bedroomed very spacious but should have crammed into 1 bedroomed because views are brilliant, about ten minute walk to square but loads of bars n shops en route. 2 mins from beach, ideal in every way.

Well it wasn't a complete hovel, but it wasn't great!! from ReviewingGeek
Before booking I checked the other travel reviews on here and it seemed like the hotel was a good find!!! However, the raving reviews that got me rather excited left me feeling extremley disappointed when i got there. We booked a six bed apartment, the rooms were really basic, i never expected the ritz but they were very basic. The stale smell from the wardrobes left the room in dire need of fumagation, opening the draws exposed left food wrapers and grafitti from past guests. The bathroom was the eptiome of a hovel! This was by far the worst thing. The maids left the last people's half used soap in the sink and bath, the dingy green suite and the flooded floor everytime someone used the shower left a lot to be desired!!! It is also worth pointing out that air conditioning is NOT included in the price. The bill for one of our rooms was nearly £30!! Not very impressive after we had paid £310 each (x 6) for a week!! The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms was also very problamatic for the first few days, always turning off. After complaining to someone at reception, they told us it wasnt their fault, the guests before us broke it!! Very helpfull indeed! The cost of air condiitoning is only the start of the hotel's hidden costs. It is very much one BIG cash cow. From the internet connection to the food and drink- nothing is well priced!! A cocktail is £2 and when you can spend £1 more and get 2 shots and a futher drink elsewhere it is clearly over priced!! We booked the hotel because it was in ayia napa, close to the nightlife but not in your face!! This was quite fair, but for younger people with friends the hotel isn't that good because there is no entertainment and no happy hours!! There was a large family staying there when we were too, and the whole area tended to attract trashy families, so unless u enjoy endless chavvy accents and uncontrolled kids then dont go here!! But then again why go to ayia napa if you dont expect this! It certainly isn't very family orientated! An example of this is the cocktail menu in the hotel bar, all sexually orientated like 'Blow Job,' '69' and 'Penis.' I do have one nice thing to say tho and that was the pool!! There was an abundence of sunloungers, even if you are not an early riser, there was always free ones. And people tend to leave inflatables around the pool and having such a large pool that supported the use of lots of lilo's and rubber rings was good!!! All in all it wasn't great, but it wasnt awful, I just wouldn't go back there again!! In addition it is worth pointing out that cyprus is like the medieval era- u can not flush toilet paper and the bins arent always emptied every day!!!

...but it's the 2nd! We were looking forward to our stay at the Tofinis, we knew it was not going to be luxury. We booked a 2 bedroomed apartment, be warned, you have a view of a wall. We couldn't put our clothes in the wardrobes as they stunk of staleness. General state of the apartment was grubby. We asked to be moved to another apartment but they were fully booked. The bin men in their big wagon with warning alarms emptied the big bins out side our window at 3.30 in the morning!!!! You might think you shouldn't be in bed by that time if your in Ayia Napa but when you have chosen a hotel for the peace and quiet.... Hotel is located at the top of a hill, so the walk home is a bit tiring, but good excercise. There are some sea caves located further past the hotel round the bend which are nice to go for a look at at sunset. It is in good walking distance of the beautiful sandy beach. Pool area was good, plenty of sunloungers for everyone. Go to Sizzlers stakehouse (behind the town hall), try Liquid bar (near the square, nice chilled out place, reasonably priced good food), and also Abacus did excellent steak!! At the end of the day it was ok to stay in if you just want a cheap holiday in the sun.

We had stayed in Cyprus before and had initially booked the Euronapa in Ayia Napa. When there were complications with booking, we were allocated the Tofinis instead-how glad we were! The Tofinis is a basic, clean set of apartments with a reasonably sized pool. As the site is on the top of a hill, you get a lovely view of the sea and a nice breeze which is refreshing in such hot temperatures! Don't be put off by this hill however! It is only 15 mins walk to the centre of Ayia Napa...bring water with you if you intend on walking to and from the apartments during the day, it's thirsty work! A real bonus about the pool area is the amount of free sunbeds...fantastic! The tofinis has a well stocked shop attached with a very friendly parrot called George outside! The owner is very friendly and is often at the reception desk making jokes. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and as there was only one floor in the apartment block, we didn't feel like we had to travel far with our luggage. Overall I would recommend the tofinis for basic but clean and friendly accommodation.

The room consisted of a bedroom with twin beds air con (which gets very very cold... which is what you need),2 dressing tables with mirrors, therefore there was no waiting on a mirror when trying to get ready (particulary ideal for the ladies). Along with this the bedroom was very spacious with enough wardrobe room to put all your clothes and other things in. The bathroom had both a shower and a bath which was rather big, again very clean and spacious. The main room included a kitchen area with fridge, toaster, kettle, etc. Also within the main room was a dining table and chairs, some sitting chairs and the third bed. Again a very spacious room. The bedroom and main room both had a door that led out onto the balcony, which was nice to chill out on before going out, particulary if you had an inland view of the pool, bar, beach, etc. The apartment itself had an indoor steak restaurant and an outdoor restaurant, located next to the bar. The reception was 24 hours in which you could leave your key with them if you didnt fancy taking it out with you on a night. The reception area also provided safe boxes, internet and telephones. The pool area was very clean, and the pool itself was very big. We loved the fact that no matter what time you went to chill out by the pool there was always sunbeds and umbrellas available. We usuallly spent most dasy round the pool as it was nice and breezy, due to being located on an hill. The beach was literally a 5 min walk outside the apartment- if that. The staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly throughout the holiday, always at your service. Also on a night its very peaceful as the staff don't tolerate any noise, and had a security guy (brijesh aka ghandi) on guard overnight. Overall staying in tofinis apartments made our holiday one of the best holidays ever, i would definately return ayia napa and stay in these apartments. Ema =D x

We've been to tofinis apartments in ayia napa twice now.. and we've just booked again for this year! It's a brilliant place for a relaxing holiday, despite what age you are!! It has so much for everyone and your guaranteed to enjoy your stay. The staff are so friendly and make you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive - the bar and pool have a really friendly atmosphere. You can enjoy a drink whilst your kids play pool or on the other various game machines inside. The beach is not far down the road, and theres loads of nice restaurants you can go and enjoy eating at! However, if you dont fancy a walk down the hill, the tofinis restaurant is very forfilling and just as good! Definatly one of our favourite holiday resorts!!

We have recently retuned from a two week stayat the TOFINIS this being the third visit,and was a fabulous holiday. This is one of the best situated hotel apartments in the area with a lovely pool area and surroundings,we always hire a moped so that we can park it the short distance away towards the centre so that we dont have to walk up the hill after walking around. JIMMy his brothers and all his staff are all great friendly people willing to do anything for you that they can. We have two kids who both love it, and we even took my mother two years ago who also loved the place,the people all the flowers around ayia napa and the waterpark it iS A FABULOUS PLACE AND A LOVELY ISLAND. just come back from the tofinis apts, they are fabulous, lovely and clean, plenty of sunbeds and cant get over how quiet it was, so you can sleep in if you wish. We went to my sons wedding at the grecian sands, the tofinis is just over the road from there so ideal. Its quite a walk into the main area of agia napa and the square,but the taxis cost about £5. Would definately stay there again, had a fabulous time.
Central, Basic but Good from McHit
Me and 9 of my mates came here last summer after 3 of us had been the year before and thought it was ideal. As its cheap, clean and sooo close to the main square were all the bars and clubs are. It literally takes you no longer than 30 seconds walking to come across the first bar on the outskirts of the square, and considering that its that close to everything you hardly hear any of it at night. Basically at this place if your air-con works your laughing, but last year coz there was so many of us in one appartment (5 to each appartment) we all had to sleep in the main room/kitchen to feel the effect of the air-con at night, as it was on its last legs. The rooms do get cleaned daily, and they even do the dishes! They even pick you clothes up off the floor and fold them for you sometimes. The bar by the pool is open virtually all day and doesnt shut until the early hours of the morning. Had a problem with none of the staff, although we did hear some rumours about the security guys who wonder about at night making sure people dont jump in the pool. But last year there was soo many people doing it they just didnt bother doing anything about it! If all your looking for is a cheap, clean place, central to the night life, a decent pool with loads of groups of young people out to have a laugh....then this is the place!!

Had the pleasure of going twice and booked for the third year running. This is a auperb base for the holiday. Great apartments and fantastic (very large pool). Lots of beds and more importantly lots of space. The poolside bar and restaurant are fabulous, good food and great staff. Good 10 minute walk into town but ok. Maid service good, apartments are very clean and not too crowded. Book and enjoy just like us. Tony, Mike, Mark, Alan, Killer and Clarky.
