Submitted By: HMtravellingWe stayed 'all inclusive' the food was good. Buffet only. Always something new.
An excellent selection of drinks until midnight.
Order water with your meal as this is not all inclusive at other times
The atmosphere was friendly and staff professional and helpful. A truly beautiful setting where you can sit by the pool whilst looking onto a breathtaking beach.
A little money for watersports or to hire bikes or a car is a good idea. Take time to walk along the coast there are some fabulous beaches.
The entertainment staff are wonderful making our holiday so much more enjoyable with games for everyone during the day and a varied programme each evening.
Great place to stay for families and single parents.
Visit the waterworld, try snorkelling and available safari
Good for: City Breaks

Submitted By: Miss R Cairnsi was a bit wary of the food which was going to be served as i have been on a couple of all inc holidays and found the food to be horrible, but when we went down the restuarant, we were shown to a table and a waiter took our drinks order. we went to get some food which was absolutly gorgeous, i was very surprised to see the choice you got, it had different themes each nite which was good to have a variety. there was even a seperate menu for children which had, the usual kids stuff, fish, nuggets etc, which my daughter loved, she even enjoyed the food what we had. excellent food, the only downside was my waste had expanded by the end of the holiday as i ate that much :)
the entertainment was great all the staff was fab, the kids club was brilliant, my daughter got attached to one of the ladies that worked in the club! i also went on a nite out with a couple of the entertainers/reps! they were all so nice and made our holiday even more fun and special
we're definatly going to return to the dome beach hotel!
it was the best holiday ever, i miss it so much and all the staff
GREAT HOTEL xx

Submitted By: Mrs A KempSo, to give people a bit of insight into this hotel, the following review is my opinion only.
As always the holiday this year was fantastic from start to finish. Cleanliness is alway a top priority at this friendly hotel, all areas of are constantly being cleaned and tidied.
All the staff (without exception) were exceptional, always having time to spend catching up with family and news from the previous 12 months, whilst still giving that personal but highly professional service.
The reception area is light, well furnished and spotless.
Reception staff always have a smile and will give as much assistance is is needed to sort any problems anyone may have.
We also arrived late at night (as we usually do) and we have never ever had a problem with only one member of staff working, they are so good at their jobs that your checking in only takes moments.
The rooms, like reception and the rest of the hotel, are also well furnished and spotless with the essential air conditiioning. Maid service is daily and sheets, towels etc are changed at the same time.
The bar and veranda on reception level (Zephyros Bar) is well furnished, spotless and again, very well run by a very experienced Bar Manager named Savvas.
The Cerinia Restaurant and Lambousa cafeteria are again well furnished, spotless and well run under the ever watchful eye of Andreas, who has many years experience and knows how to treat his guests and, in his absence, by Nicos and Maria.
The Aquarius Pool Bar is well organised, well stocked and well staffed, as overseen by Nicos and Maria. Again one is always greeted with a smile and service is first class.
The main pool has ample sunbeds and shades. The main pool attendant/manager, Panis, makes sure that everyone enjoys themselves whilst, at the same time, lessening the chance of accidents by keeping his eye on things.
The beach is well looked after with one or two attendants there to supply mattresses to those wishing to sunbathe there rather than around the pool area
The new child friendly pool area, round the back of the hotel, is well cleaned, easily accessible, has a water slide and two jacuzzi's incorporated in the pool. The area also incorporates one of the children's clubs and play area. It has a new bar, toilets and shower facilities and easy access to Macronissos Beach and the sea.
There are also a variety of watersports available, run by Tasos and Raymond, at an extra charge, again these are all well maintained and presented.
The food at this hotel is out of this world, there is so much choice and something for everyone, I never realised how many items could be put out at one time !
There are many chefs and assistants under the wing of Thomas, the head Chef, and he is out and about most evenings if guests need to speak to him or ask him anything.
Also, the sign of a good hotel, is the fact that the Management are always out and about during the day, so are easily accessibly, should you wish to speak with them and at least one of them is always around.
I personally, over the years, have never found any reason for complaint about any aspect of the holiday at this hotel and would be extremely surprised if anyone could, but there again, there is always someone who would.

Submitted By: Mrs J WalshI have to say from start to finish the holiday was lovely.
Of course there are a couple of things you can niggle about but they were minor but I will point them out for future holiday makers (*).
*We arrived in the early hours of the morning and there was only 1 member of staff on reception, so it did take a while to get booked in and there was nowhere to have a drink or anything so be prepared take something to drink and eat. AI stops at 12pm.
Once in the hotel everything was lovely I travelled with my future husband and my 5 yr old daughter plus family and friends. We had a room that although basic by some standards was perfectly adequate for us. *However 1 family in the party had 2 kids and the family room they said was not great just a little bigger with an extra bed, no separate bedroom but hey how long are you in your room on holiday.
The hotel rooms were cleaned daily by the maids and you had towels for your room and for the pool, so don't bother taking your own towels.
As we were getting married there we had a bottle of fizz, fruit and flowers in our room when we arrived which was a lovely touch.
The holiday itself was great, good facilities for everyone, 2 lovely pools enough sun beds for everyone and umbrellas. The staff were very helpful, especially Maria who was a god send. The entertainment team were excellent and kept the children happy every night along with the adults. Dani was a star as were the others and I know it's a tough job to keep everyone entertained - I think they can only get better as the season progresses.
The wedding itself was lovely, Nicos the hotel manager was on hand and we had several meetings with him to ensure things ran smoothly. We got married in the hotel grounds under a lovely gazebo, with chairs covered in white and flowers it looked lovely and I was so pleased. We had a total of 33 guests on the day and those not staying in the hotel got day passes so they could eat and drink what they liked.
We decided to have a BBQ for the reception and had that on the veranda, it was very informal but just what we wanted. The food on the BBQ was delicious. On the morning after we had a champagne breakfast in bed and then a candle lit dinner for 2 in the restaurant with a separate menu from everyone else and that was just the perfect end to our wedding celebrations.
So if you are thinking about getting married here then do it - we had a truly amazing day and although short and sweet it was just perfect.
Overall the food was nice, breakfast there was a lot of choice and then lunch and dinner was different nearly every night with plenty of choice, also food for the kids and yes there were chips but not every day. *Eating outside on a morning there are birds that fly around but this is not a major problem but please be aware.
Overall this is a lovely hotel and I am glad we went and had a lovely holiday plus a lovely wedding too.
We will no doubt return in a few years as Cyprus is such a lovely place.
" LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY!!!!
Beautiful country, friendly people, we were treated like royalty & did not want to return to England!! The food was incredible and the hotel was faultless! It was kept so tidy and clean and the staff were always incedibely polite and helpful! Even the beaches were cleaned every day!
What more can I say!! DEFINITELY worth another visit!

Submitted By: Mrs H CraneThe weather was fab, hot and sunny.
The Beach was beautiful, warm, clear and clean.
The Entertainment Team, Carla (super singer), Hayley, Dani and Antony were very all on the ball! The Kids World was second to none. Very safe indeed. Sarah, Emma, Steve were out of this world. My children enjoyed it all.
The Restaurant staff were well organised. Never had to wait for any length of time for meal drinks. Very obliging, helpful and friendly indeed.
Bird poo... well, yes I did see it, but nothing to worry about, it was not that bad!
The Dome, Thank-you.
" This was the best holiday ever!... "
Submitted By: Mrs T CummingsWe all thought the hotel was wonderful! Kept very clean, excellent choice of food (nothing is recycled for evening meal) choice of 2 pools and 2 beaches on your doorstep...what more could you want.
The entertainment team were excellent, as were the kid’s reps. Loads going on which you can get involved in if you wish, and although this is a large hotel, it is also very friendly.
The only minor fault I would say is we booked a family room and it was a case of 4 beds side by side with no other room at all, but as we only use our room to sleep this was not a great concern.
Would definitely recommend this holiday to all ages.

Submitted By: Ms N CharlesThey all make sure that you have a brilliant time while you are there and cannot do enough for you.
The food was amazing, always a wide variety and something for the kids.
The entertainment was brilliant for the kids with the 'dynamite disco' especially Mark going absolutely crazy with the animal song, my daughter really enjoyed it and is still doing the dances now she is home!!
The accommodation was always clean along with the rest of the hotel, pools, bars, etc.
We also had a lot of fun on the excursions and I can definitely say we will be going back next year!

Submitted By: Miss C VeyseyWe booked with Thomas Cook who were excellent and organised everything correctly.
The flight from Exeter airport with eurocypria was terrible and I would recommend you avoid travelling with this airline.
We arrived at the hotel at 8.00am and were immediately greeted and our bags were taken to our room while we swiftly checked in. Our room had been cleaned to a very high standard with fresh towels ready for us.
We didn't waste anytime unpacking and instead went straight down to breakfast.
The breakfast is buffet style and could not really be faulted as there is something to suit all tastes i.e. croissants and freshly baked bread, plenty of fruit, cereals, cooked breakfast, yoghurts, fresh fruit juices, waffles etc.
There is plenty of choice at lunch time however we found that the buffet dinner was very similar to the lunch menu and there could have perhaps been a greater variety. There were only the same choice of about 5 desserts for every day of our stay which we felt was perhaps not adequate of a 4star resort.
The all inclusive programme is definitely good value for money and the drinks are plentiful with a large variety to choose from. Also although you have to pay extra for international brands of drinks they are not that expensive so we didn't mind paying the extra some nights.
The hotel is located on two sandy beaches, one directly in front of the hotel and one to the side. They are both nice but the one to the side is white sand with a wide range of water sports and is perfect for swimming. The man that you hire the sun loungers from is very friendly and comes around with fresh fruit throughout the day. He can be very persistent though which is slightly annoying if you are already full up with all the food and snacks you get on the all inclusive programme.
He also wouldn't let up until we agreed to go paragliding which considering my nan is 66 was perhaps a little intense but we did go and really enjoyed the experience.
If you get the chance to do paragliding it isn't expensive and is well worth trying.
The hotel grounds are kept very clean but the pool is not heated and was far too cold to go in October so we stuck to swimming in the sea which was far warmer. The bar next to the pool does tea and cakes in the afternoon which was a nice touch after a day spent sunbathing on the beach.
When we went we were one of only two English families staying at the hotel , most of the rest were German's and the hotel definitely is geared up to cater for them in preference to everyone else.
Our biggest criticism would be the entertainment which was virtually non-existent. There was a themed Greek night which was badly organised and of a poor standard. The reps organised evening entertainment for the children which they seemed to enjoy but for adults all there is a TV showing sport in a separate room near the bar area and on occasional nights some singers who are also pretty poor.
We made good use of the tennis courts which have been well maintained.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Ayia Napa so you also cannot access any other entertainment on foot, however there is a supermarket and bar in walking distance and a cheap bus that runs regularly into Ayia Napa centre and also to the nearby resort of protaras (we wouldn't recommend protaras unless you want to go to a foreign version of Blackpool, Ayia Napa has much more on offer)
All in all the hotel is perfect for a relaxing break but perhaps best suited to families with young children or elderly couples that just want to lie on the beach and have very early nights.
On our last day we had to checkout quite early however our flight was not until last afternoon. They take your suitcases and put them into a locked room so you can still enjoy the rest of your time at the hotel and although are all inclusive wristbands were removed we asked if we could still go to lunch and they happily obliged. The staff are all lovely and they sent us a Christmas card last year as well.
GOOD POINTS:
-friendly, helpful staff
-located on two lovely beaches
-you can walk from the hotel along the coast round all the beautiful bays including the famous nissi beach which is beautiful and well worth a visit.
-good value for money
-plenty of choice of drinks and good service
-good choice at breakfast
-rooms cleaned well
BAD POINTS:
-your room card is put into a slot inside your room to activate the air conditioning meaning you can't have air con in the day and would have to come back to a stuffy room - we did however find a way around this, by using a credit card or similar in the slot it worked like the room card.
-very little entertainment
-freezing swimming pool
-location bit too far away from resort centre
-dinner and lunch was practically the same buffet food
-terrible flight with eurocypria
We are returning to Cyprus in August this year but to a different hotel which is more expensive but we feel will be better suited to our taste. However we have not ruled out going back here in the future as it was excellent value for money and we had a very nice, relaxing break.
I wouldn't be put off by this review as I have been quite critical and not really highlighted all the good points and believe me there are loads. However I think it is most important to be aware of the negatives to decide whether it is the hotel suited for you.
Enjoy your stay

Submitted By: Mrs L PringleAll of the entertainment team (especially Mark!) were brilliant and made every effort to put on great shows! My son loved the Brazilian Soccer School so a special thanks to Danny!
A great holiday - one to remember! We will definitely think about booking up again!
" Absolutely fantastic!
Lovely hotel everybody is so attentive, they can't do enough for you. We had 2 days of storms and entertainment was stepped up to look after us.
Thomas cook team were out of this world (we love you mark, Linda, Leigh and Laura) they are officially Thomas cooks no1 entertainment team in the world, (according to recent ratings) there energy and enthusiasm is unbelievable.
We must not forget the Dome's entertainment staff Carlo, hana, zofia and Jana who also did a fab job.
We went with my parents and two very young children and were all catered for. Kids world girls Suzie, teish and Mel were also wonderful and looked after my daughter as if she was theirs (my daughter cried all the way to the airport when saying goodbye, she is only 4!)
I would strongly recommend this hotel it is immaculate and would definitely go back any day. It has a strong cosmopolitan feel and this made it even nicer that we could meet people from different countries.
We will never forget our time at the Dome and after reading some of the reviews wonder what some people expect from a 4 star all inclusive family based hotel!

First of all let me mention the entertainers! They were fantastic especially Mark and Ali, Every day (and evening) they got everyone involved in the activities however were not pushy if you didn’t care to join in, we went as a couple but would recommend taking children as there seemed so much for them to do while adults enjoyed the sun
The rooms were a nice size and cleaned to a high standard each day (one day the maid didn’t change our sheets, they had suntan oil and make up on them but within 5 minutes of a phone call to reception another maid came and cleaned the entire room again and changed the linen as requested)
The balcony’s all seemed quite small no matter where you were in the Hotel, they had 2 chairs, a table and a clothes airer, that pretty much took up most of the space however it’s not like we spent the entire holiday sat at the balcony so didn’t mind too much - The views are lovely if you have a sea or pool view. Thomas cook messed up our booking and we ended up in a "garden view" there was no garden just concrete! The hotel staff did their best and we were moved rooms within 48 hours.
3 very nice clean swimming pools the main pool was a nice size with a baby pool next to it - the other pool was equally as nice and has 2 spas. Every day the pool guard was cleaning and the cleaners were making sure the surrounding area was free from grime
There were plenty of sun loungers by the pool, grassed area or on the Hotels private beach area so you never struggled to have somewhere to lounge/relax.
There are water sports on the private beach area however a quite expensive (£35 for 15 min Jet Ski) so it’s worth walking to the other beaches for cheaper water sports
The food was of a good quality and there was plenty of choice every morning, noon and night (one of the best all inclusive hotels I’ve stayed in for choice)
The Hotel had a different theme each night which helped with the variety of food
The dining staff were all very polite and friendly making sure you enjoyed your meals
Ice cream was for adults as well as the kids
Alcoholic drinks were served from about 10am till midnight there were plenty of drinks to choose from even though the all inclusive is local brands only - if you order a international drink they are quite pricey a Baileys set us back £5. (Luckily the staff forgot to add it to the room charges)
If you fancy a walk there is a nice British bar about 5 minutes from the hotel called the Kings Sword the staff are lovely and provide you with newspapers to catch up on the UK news - along the same strip are a couple of places to eat and some supermarkets.
The Hotel is quite a distance from Napa approx 45 minutes walk for us this was ideal as we didn’t want a party holiday just somewhere to relax and enjoy the sun!
Overall the brochures are pretty accurate about this hotel - It’s a lovely place to stay and am looking forward to returning next year
Advice: Nissi Bay is Beautifull - very quiet and relaxing - about 45 minutes from Napa
Activities: Famagusta
Good for: Beach
