Total have just taken over this chalet hotel and it was our first holiday with this company.
Good flights with Monarch and very smooth transfer of under 2 hours in very comfortable coach. So much snow in village coach could not get down lane to hotel but staff helped with cases, etc. so no problem. Staff all friendly and helpful with excellent hotel manager and resort rep who took us ski guiding.
Lech is a beautiful town even more so just before Christmas. I can speak German but I don't think it would matter if you couldn't do so in the bars, shops, etc. Ski bus stops right outside hotel and links with true Austrian efficiency with other buses for a day in St. Anton etc.
Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a cosy bar and dining room where all the guests easily got to know each other.
Ski room has boot warmers and is on the same level as the main door and opposite the bus stop so very convenient. Lech is quite an upmarket ski resort but we found the mountain restaurants quite reasonably priced, as are most of the town bars and restaurants.
Ate at Charly's on staff night off and thoroughly recommend this place for its friendliness and Italian menu. Spent most lunchtimes on the sunny terrace of the Burgwald Hotel up at Oberlech!
Thoroughly recommend this hotel and the resort of Lech.
