Mecure Holland House Hotel

The exterior of this hotel, which still looks like the revamped office block that was its forerunner, belies the comfortable and stylish interior.
Our room spaciously accommodated two double beds, and included two armchairs, wardrobes with full length mirrors. The decor was modern, in white and brown and seemed very new.
The hotel was very quiet and the pool, housed in the basement, was empty on the three occasions visited and was excellent. The hotel is situated opposite St. Mary Redcliffe Church, which is well worth a visit, with a gastropub The Hole in the Wall in walking distance. Bristol Temple Meads train station is about 10 minutes walk.
Reception staff were efficient and polite. There is payable parking behind the hotel, max £8 for 24 hours.
