Boabab Beach Resort Hotel

We've just returned from the most fantastic two weeks at the Kole Kole and had to write a review! We have both stayed in luxury hotels around the world and were blown away by the Kole Kole - from the second we were met by Patrick and the team in the large open palm-roofed reception and were met by the sounds of the fountains and waterfalls, the birds and the monkeys, and a cool drink, to the moment we left, we were treated by the fabulous staff to a very special experience. What a fantastic hotel - we arrived both on our first day and after our safari to cold flannels and absolutely gorgeous fruit punch-just what you want after 9 hours on a plane!! This hotel is right on the beach - white sand and warm, blue sea. However, if you want to sun bathe on the beah, forget it. There are beach boys all over the beach. Some want to sell you things and a few want to just talk. Jambo!!! Just spent 2 weeks at Baobab Kole Kole with my 12 year old daughter and had the time of our lives. Kenya is an amazing place…….great people and a wonderful country……more of an experience than a holiday. Kole Kole is lovely……is very new and the rooms are large with 4 poster beds made from the Baobab tree……with a fantastic sea view. We stayed here for two weeks on our honeymoon and arrived to rain but this soon cleared up and we had sun for two weeks with morning short showers. Our room was in one of the cottages so was amazing - bath robes, t.v (not that we watched it!), bottle of wine and fruit. Monkeys everywhere around the resort and on balcony, even Baboons!
