Isla Del Aire Apartments Reviews
" Just returned after 2 weeks and we... "
Submitted By: Mr S Collins
Just returned after 2 weeks and we had a great holiday, yes it is quiet but just what we were looking for. Our 3 yr old son Josh made lots of friends espeicaly kiera,Eve,Jessica and brothers George and James who helped keep him entertained over the 2 weeks thats whats great about this resort your kids make friends almost instantly. All the people there very friendly and I'm sure we will see a few of them again next year.. The town itself none existent but enough restaurants to keep you fed over your stay.
The Blue Anchor is good for sky sports thats about it the food is bland and beer overpriced but staff really friendly.
Staff at the apartments really friendly espiecaly paul who gives you info on anything you need to know and Fracisco and Karlos or (Arny and Danny Devito from the movie twins) as they were comenly known were ok but a bit on the slow side. Overall had a great time and will defo go back next year.

All the rooms have poolside views and the well established gardens provide plenty of colour and greenery. The pools themselves are clean and child friendly. There are plenty of sunbeds but few parasols and people, especially with small children, may need to provide their own.
It is a 3 keys - not 3 stars - establishment and Spanish. The maid service is limited and sheets and towels are changed twice a week. You wiil be expected to make your own beds( to lie in!) and sweep out your own rubbish!
Evenings are quiet but there is entertainment provided over the road at the Lighthouse tapas bar. You should sleep peacefully and as long as you want to!
Punta Prima and the surrounding area is very Spanish- but Inglesi friendly- and picturesque - don't be expecting Veronica's or San Antonio - or even Los Dolfines - because you will be disappointed.
But Isla De L'Aire is an 'easy' place to stay. You - and your kids -will make friends there. One couple we met were on their 12th visit and many others said they would go back.
We had one hiccup at the end of the holidays when our return taxi was delayed by the festival at Sant Llouis and we were panicking. The lovely lady on reception chased them up and allayed our fears. All in all - a very enjoyable holiday.
