Wow, what can I say! An absolutely amazing holiday. Four of us girls staying at the Vias Apartments for one week. Not long enough to be honest! First impressions when turning up at the apartments were 'basic'. But that didn't matter as time went on, we soon made it homely. Everybody who works at the Vias Apartments are lovely. They all make your stay there very enjoyable, and really take care of you.

The location of the apartments is amazing. Well, if you enjoy the night life anyway. 2 minutes walk away from the main square which has all the best clubs and bars. For food, literally located right next to the Vias Apartments were two lovely restaurants, in which we ate every night before heading out. The apartments are set back from the main road as well which is really nice. Overall we really did enjoy our holiday, none of us wanted to go home. We would definately go back to the Vias Apartments, I really do rate it highly!

My family and I went to Ayia Napa back in 2003, altogether there were about 35 of us, all staying in different apartments. When we arrived at vias the staff were very friendly and made us all feel welcome. The rooms were lovely and always cleaned, the pool area was quite big and the food was brilliant. Vias was in the centre of everything.

AYIA NAPA was really amazing, the pub we most enjoyed was the jasmin pub. We stayed for 2 weeks in Ayia Napa and nobody wanted to go home it was the best holiday I have ever been on, we went to Ayia Napa for a family wedding in the nearby monastery which was fantastic and at the end of our stay we left behind our t-shirts from the hen/stag nights, the boys had a welsh dragon shirt and the girls had a white t-shirt with a red welsh dragon on which was hung on the ceiling in vias apartments bar which I imagine is still there.

Ayia Napa was brilliant and I cannot wait to go back it’s been 3 years since iv been and I am planning to go back one day and when I do vias will be the place I will stay!!!

I have been to Cyprus every year most of my life and most of it I have stayed at the vias apts, and would not go anywhere else we know all the staff there and they are all friendly, and accommodate your every need. franzis and katerina are wicked especially the food, the apts are really close to everything the square restaurants shops and the beach.

The pool is not huge but is big enough for you. The rooms are big but basic but who needs complication. I recommend vias to anyone of all walks of life.

3 young Glasgow girls just back from Ayia Napa. We stayed at the Vias for 2 weeks. The apartments where nice a big spacious apartment with fridge, TV, and a lovely balcony view of the pool area, it was very basic but clean even though the cleaners were quite rude our room suited us as we had lovely neighbours in the apartments next to us. the sun was scorching at the pool area until about 5 then it went away to the other end of the apartments.

The reception staff were helpful but one of the guys was moany he didn’t like you making to much noise at night. The family who run the bar, Frantz and his wife and their children are really friendly and provide good service. We were very close to the main square where all the night life is which was great we went their every night and had a great time partying into the small hours.

The only thing I can complain about is that you have to pay for air conditioning apart from that everything else was ok I love the whole holiday experience it was great we all had that much of a great holiday we are considering going over there to work for the full season next year Cyprus is brilliant. If you want a standard fun holiday with a nice room to sleep and a nice pool area then go here.

When we arrived there it was very hot all most to hot, but we got used to the heat very quickly. We only had to wait a few minutes and we were given our keys. When we got in the rooms they was very nice and spacious but we found out that we had to pay for the air conditioning when we had been told it was included. The people were very nice there especially Katrina, Francis and their children.

The food was great as we did pay to eat in sometimes at the food was lovely. We had been told the pool was very small but it turned out to be big enough. We were very close to the beach as at the back of the hotel was a little alley way which you could walk down which would lead you straight to the beach. They're were shops right next to the hotel and it was only a 3 minute walk to the main centre were all the nightclubs was, they're was this 1 night club we liked in particular and all the family was allowed in at 10 or 11pm some of the staff would light the bar on fire and dance on it and after this had happened the fire would be put out and a couple of girls would be chosen to go on the bar and dance. One of the times me, my sister and her mate was chosen and I was carried on to the bar it was great fun.

We went to this one restaurant 3 times Othello’s it has the best food ever and they’re is a big choice of children’s food and non alcoholic cocktails which me and my brother had quite often and the best has to be the Mickey mouse. Me and my brother made mates with this girl and her brother and on their last night as they left the weeks before us, they took me to the funfair and her older brother the funfair was great fun and I went on the big bungee jump with her and we screamed our heads off and because we screamed so loudly they gave us a free ride we also got a video of us as in the bungee there is a camera which records you, what fun.

We are thinking about going there again in 2007 as it is such a great time and we will definitely stay in Vias apartments.

Me and my family have just stayed at the Vias apartments for the Easter school holidays. We traveled with First Choice which in their brochure, featured this property as a 3 sun accommodation, not a 2 star.

We were very disappointed with the rooms as they were very basic and old. We were located opposite a car park, despite faxing apartments beforehand to request a pool view. We were unable to move, although I don't know why because as it was the beginning of the summer season, no pool rooms were vacated. Could not complain about the location, as we were close to all shops, bars restaurants and beach. Didn't find reception staff very helpful. Our satellite television wasn't working properly, so on 3 occasions we were assured that the problem would be sorted 'tomorrow'.

On the day we left, the television still was not fixed, so we were really disappointed with the level of customer service given by reception staff. Apartments had a nice bar and small pool, but as we hired a car for a week, did not use many of the facilities. The time of year visited, Ayia Napa was relatively quiet which is great for a family, but 2 weeks later, I think it would be too noisy.

Ideal for a gang of lads or girls in the summer, who are not bothered by the standard of accommodation. My son loved 'Luna Park Funfair' which was located next to McDonalds. There was lots of choice for lovely meals and entertainment nearby and would recommend 'Orthellos' restaurant as we ate there 3 nights in a row. Staff were lovely and food was excellent. Had children’s menu and non alcoholic cocktails for kids so they felt included.

If going back to Ayia Napa, would definitely choose to stay in a higher level of accommodation, maybe a hotel instead of apartments as all looked as basic as ours from outside. Will also make sure that the ratings in a tour operators brochure is the official star rating for an accommodation before booking.

We stayed at Vias, in august the rooms were great very spacious and clean, the pool wasn't big but big enough.

The people there were very friendly especially Francais and Katrina, they made you feel very welcome and the food was great, we enjoyed the holiday that much we went back the following year, and are planning a trip there next year.

It is 5 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes from the square where all the bars and restaurants are.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The apartments are in a great position within a couple of minutes of the square and 5-10 to the beach. Katrina and Frantzis who run the bar and do the food are a very pleasant couple and the food they serve is very good.

The swimming pool isn’t very large but big enough. The apartments are quite large with everything you need in them. This was our first visit to the Vias but would definitely go back again.

The holiday was fantastic apart from a few excursions that we went.

I would not recommend a day trip to the north, we found the Turkish very rude and impolite and we spent the day being followed by some sleazy guy trying to get a good look. We went to Famagusta which is the ghost town and was extremely disappointed, we were told that we’d be going around the ghost town and would get the chance to see how the place was left when the Turkish invaded but all we were able to see was 5ins worth of derelict building which we had to stand on the beach and view.

The apartments that we stayed in were very basic but spacious and the bar staff were brilliant. All in all the holiday was brilliant and I’d defiantly recommend it.
