we were a honeymoon party of 13. we were in the flight path which was noisey.the free bar was disgusting, i think it was the dregs that couldnt be used any where else. so if you wanted adrink you had to use the hotel bar (michael & katerina) looked after us very well.apartments were basic but good, maid services was very good. the pool needed alifeguard, too many small children (health & saftey) overgrown kidsdidnt know how to behave in the pool. the resturant ,the food was good plenty of choice (not always to my liking) the only complaint , it was afree for all and reminded me of the school canteen. the surrounding grounds were kept tidy. the issue about the sun beds, ifit all inclusive it means every thing including the sunbeds and it didnt , it was 3 euros a dayx13 a lot of money. one of our party was taken ill and was admitted to hospitel, i can not speak highly enough of the treatment she recieved.

Stayed here for 1 week with mrs and grandaughter.Never again, hotel was clean enough and staff friendly, especially animation team who never stopped.
But food was diabolical, all food was prepared in the main hotel but cooking for 4 hotels so food was never hot enough or indeed cold enough for the chilled sweets. My grandaughter was taken ill for last 3 days and on return to uk was hospitalised with salmonnela poisoning
However if you want an action packed holiday i would reccomend but stay room only and eat out

You travel in my opinion were very helpful! around the main pool you do have to pay for beds, but there are other areas (nice ones) away from the noise etc that you travel tell you about! also you get to sunbath free in the waterpark which is fab for the kids, & the food and drinks is free in the waterpark also but i wouldn't bother with the sandwiches, go back to the hotel for snacks and lunch! this hotel is definately for families, not really couples - but is still great! the cocktail bar inside is really plush therefore you pay for cocktails which is fair enough! the staff are really friendly the the hotel is fab, we were on the top floor facing the sea so if you can specify please do as it's spectacular from up there! the food was great for everyone - there's something for everyone! the staff are so so freindly, the german tourists were the only rude ones! the mini disco and shows are great for the kids and sitting by the sea with the breeze was fantastic, i just wish i'd booked 2 weeks but i'm sure by the summer time it will be heaving with kids ha ha so good luck! the beds arent great but i just lay all the blankets on the mattress - local beer is really good & i found if you put a dash of lemonade in the white wine it tasted lovely! anyway, dont let anyone put you off! if you have kids they will have a blast & so will you! it's not 5* but it's greek 5* the weather is Guarenteed there!

Please Note If you book with youtravel.com or any other online company you wont be able to sit round the pool, unless you pay £3 Euro per sun lounger per person. So if you’re a family of 4 be expected to pay £84 Euro for the week! Ive just came back from the Blue Bay deluxe hotel in Rhodes and I certainly wont be staying again. They actually expect ALL-INCLUSIVE to pay to sit round the pool. It’s disgusting! They dont tell you this when you book, so be careful. DONT FALL FOR IT.
The staff is horrible to you. The Manager is an arrogant man. Trust me! He dont want to know when you need help. Our room was small and had bins outside the balcony which attracted cockroaches, which were massive! The rep was only there for 15 mins 2/7 days we stayed there. And she didn’t have a clue. And the food wasn’t great, it tasted like school dinners and gave me, my girlfriend and 7 others a stomach bug! Which made us all ill for 3 days. Also the bar in the hotel doesn’t cater for ALL-INCLUSIVE. You have to pay for the drinks there. All you get is a tiny outside hut, which you have to walk around the pool to get too. There’s 1 beer pump, which you have to cue for. And you get your drinks served in a plastic cup with a cut rim which kids have chewed on, Not a pint glass. A plastic cup! Anyway if any1 has any questions for me about this complex then feel free to email me stevehayes691@hotmail.com. You have been warned about this place, Highlight of the holiday, The weather was great lol and that’s it!

The hotel was very modern and a perfect location to the beach and nightlife of Marmaris. Also being close, late at night it was a quick and well lit walk to the hotel so we never felt unsafe.
The rooms were decorated purple to cordinate with the rest of the hotel and there was air con and a balcony. The bathroom was also modern with shampoos, etc , a hair dryer and a good powerful shower over bath. The hotel had a hairdressers and jewellers within it. It also had a beauty and spa centre with reasonable prices for treatments. The hotel also had a sauna, steam room, indoor pool, jaquzi and turkish bath. We decided to use the turkish bath there rather than going outside of the hotel. The turkish bath was 45 lira for two people so about £11 each. I would recommend this.
The pool was big and because there is a sister hotel, blue bay apartments/hotel, this hotel seemed to be the child free one. The two pools were separated by a door way from the pool bar into the other pool area and we noticed that the other hotel had more groups of young people and kids splashing around in the pool whereas the Blue Bays deluxe is much more relaxed and has an adult atmosphere.
We went all inclusive at the hotel, we also could use the sauna, steam room, indoor pool, gym at no extra cost. The money we would have spent on drinks if we had not been all inclusive would have been more than what we paid extra to go HB to AI.
The food and restuarant was the hotels biggests let down. The food was catered more towards contiental than English and the food was never hot. The table clothes were always stained and quite often had holes in. Although the food was bad, it wasn't so bad that we had to eat out so it did the job and saved us alot of money to do other things on our holiday. Going all inclusive is always a risk and although I was dissapointed with the cleaniness it wouldn't stop me going back there Ai as it was only about £50 extra for 1 week.
One tip I would give is to take the very least Lira you can, the exhange rate was 2.06 against 1.97 at home and there were so many places taking the pound that you could probably get away with no forgein currency at all! Even Icmeler and Marmaris market stalls took GBP, we found they would price up when they worked out the exchange rate, so you could pay £10 or 25 Lira but it was actually costing us £12.50 = 25 Lira. so you could get things cheaper paying in GBP.
Marmaris as an area is very lively but not too roundy, there was plenty of different types of entertainment on a night time to suit different ages. It also has taxi boats leaving from the beach to take you to Icmeler, turunc and even boat trips to Rhodes!
I would recommend the mud baths at Dalyan ( we booked through Thomas cook for about £40 including dinner, tea, river cruise and a Dalayan hotel until our airport pick up arrived) Dalyan is only 20 minutes from the airport wheres Marmaris is 1 hour 30m. so the departure trip is recommended.
