Been going here for about fifteen years but probably wont go again, the park is excellent, the caravans are fine but the entertainment is really going downhill, It used to be really good but now it seems to be all bingo and people playing silly games and making fools of themselves with a short show at the end of the night, the shows are as good as ever but dont normally start until after 10 and finish at 11, the main part of the night is taken up with bingo.
The park is excellent and a very good location for a base when travelling around Devon with a train station just down the road you dont really need to use your car.
The village has a couple of shops and a couple of nice pubs with reasonably priced meals all within walking distance.

Welcome Family Holiday park is a fantastic place to go.
One of the best holiday parks we have stayed at for a long time and we will be going again.
We stayed in a "Villa" called Casita which was very spacious. 3 bedrooms, dining area Kitchen and living room. Veranda perfect for sitting out in the sun. Shower room also had a bath and the naster bedroom allso had ensuit toilet.
There were 4 adults and 2 children.
The beach is only a 5 minute walk away but it was a shingle beach.
There are lots of places to visit but, it is best that you have a car. The local pubs are very reasonable on prices and very welcoming too.
The only problem with the actual site was that there isn't much for young kids to do except go to the pools which is fantastic and well maintained.
We will be booking again for 2009.
Just like to add. My Father in law said he would like to go again which is the first time i have heard him say this. So it must be a good place lol.

Great location, 10 minutes walk from the beach. Caravans in good condition & include a welcome pack of tea/coffee/biscuits and cleaning cloth.
Evening entertainment is brilliant, you can’t fault it, varied & of a very high standard. They have a kids club for an hour in the evening while bingo is on but our kids (aged 8 & 10) found this boring with not much to do.
Pool is warm & clean but changing area very small.
Would recommend this park to everyone & will be going back.

" Great holiday. Entertainment... "

Great holiday. Entertainment fantastic for both adults and kids. A good variety of entertainment shown every night and lots of daytime activities to do as well.
Caravans not very nice but are liveable. There are some new chalets which looked rather posh wouldn't have minded been in one of those.
Within driving reach of other towns on Devon coast. Reception offer some discounts at certain parks and attractions so it's worth checking them out.
Food in bar was ok but quite expensive. Drinks are reasonably priced.

My only complaints about the park are the limited opening times of the pool and launderette and the lack of outdoor pool complex. We are considering looking for a different park that has an outdoor pool complex with slides etc. The gorunds are maintained beautifully but feel an update of facilities could be beneficial.
Overall this is a great family orientated park and the security at the club in the evening is excellent and allows parents to relax knowing their children are safe and can not "escape" or come to any harm while the adults enjoy a drink or dinner. The entertainment team are excellent and work very hard to help everyone enjoy their stay. ALL of the staff are friendly and helpful and this includes bar, cleaners, amusement man, reception staff, everyone but especially the staff at welcome bite who will specially prepare food for people with life threatening allergies. (Kev is my sons total hero).
Advice: Crealy is a great day out for the family
