For a three star hotel this was...

For a three star hotel this was lovely. More like a 4*. The rooms were spacious with a seating area and bath/shower room.
Room had tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer with extra towels in the drawer and an extra pillow in the wardrobe if needed. Room also had a trouser press and iron if needed.
The food was absolutely superb and the service was quick and efficient. Decor was beautiful and the hotel was in a lovely central location, just across the road from the four season’s hotel. Highly recommended.

A beautiful hotel with 'atmosphere' One of our favourite hotels of all time. Our son, a resident of Dublin, treated us to our first visit and we were 'hooked' When our son married the lovely Orla, Bewley's was chosen for a family reception. The table was set perfectly and the food memorable. There was so much attention to detail. The staff were friendly. We all felt at 'home' there. The occasion was in July 2007 and we still talk about the wonderful time we enjoyed. I treated the 'happy couple' to a night in the hotel and also treated our daughter and family. They loved the building and the bedrooms and the resturant at breakfast-time. My husband and I have stayed at Bewleys since - to welcome a new granddaughter into the world. We've eaten there with friends as well as family. We intend to book in again next springtime and are so looking forward to its 'Old worlde' charm.
