I stayed in this wonderful hotel in July for three nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The weather was awful but it didn't matter as I was quite happy to spend my time in the hotel.
The room was amazing- I was on the top floor and the views every morning were spectacular. My favourite part of the room was the luxurious bathroom and the delicious and unusual toiletries on offer. I spent so long in the bathroom my partner used to wonder what I was up to! Although this is a spa hotel being overly healthy or active is not forced upon you.
The breakfasts were very satisfying and you could eat what you wanted. You also were never rushed like you feel can sometimes happen in other hotels at a busy breakfast.
Also have to give top marks to the night staff who were very helpful in directing us to the hotel on our first night. Road signs are not brilliant in Gstaad and we were well and truly lost until we phoned the hotel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to indulge in some luxury and relaxation.
