Cresta Hotel

My partner and I stayed at The Cresta Hotel for a weekend in November for his 30th birthday. It’s situated in the South Shore very close to the Pleasure Beach and Sand Castle Water World.
The hotel itself was pleasant. They have a bar with a pool table, but we didn't use them. The hotel has 3 floors, and a dining room downstairs. It’s decorated nicely, and it was clean but the room we had was very small. The doors are thinner than normal so it was difficult to get cases and bags through. The En-Suite wasn't big enough to swing a cat and was dated.
Although it stated in their hotel that the rooms would be tidied everyday and they would replenish the beverages this didn't happen at all, they didn't even check the room for dirty towels or to empty the bins!!
The breakfast was ok but not great. Also the hot water went off a few times at around 6pm so we couldn't get a shower until later on which delayed things. The central heating also went off when it felt like it and it was also cold at night times.
The good things are that they have a TV in the room and you can borrow an iron and ironing board. It's also very quiet and they were friendly when they were available. Sorry but we won't be going back again.
